I believe they've cost me £300,000 in lost sales.
I had my web builder package with them but the site wasn't good enough so i signed up for the webdesign service.
This was back in February, they've still never being in touch after me spending over 9 hours on the phone asking them to rectify it as it was loosing my company money not have it this dynamic site.
Long story, i went elsewhere, fully operational in 2 weeks from placing order, it went live today with over £35k business to quote for in 1 day.
Now the fight to reclaim the £780 Ive paid them so far since they took the order. How do they survive taking small businesses money and not delivering?

I've been using this platform for a while. The functionality and price is pretty good, customer service is very poor. The response time is slow, they clearly use to much automation, and very little actual personal support. I personally will be moving all my accounts to another platform ASAP. I recently felt the need to add another site to this platform, then changed my mind. I was charged anyway...be careful with these guys!

Wasted all day to trying to amend errors to incorrect charges, get support to answer calls, explain why booked consultations have not materialized, they also cancelled my website in error that they are unable to reinstate! Avoid Avoid Avoid

Found out this morning that Ionos have sent me to a debt collection agency, for a debt that I DON'T HAVE, as I cancelled the domain (I had bought and never used) months prior, and even if I hadn't cancelled it (after months of very regular harassment and up-selling calls from them), the debt that they claim I had accrued WAS £12. Called them to resolve this issue, and they REFUSED to even take my details and discuss with me. Instead they were incredibly rude and abrupt with me and tried to get me off the call for 40 minutes, saying I had to talk to their debt collectors. When I got put on hold for the third time, in an attempt to get me to abandon the call, because I refused to leave the call until they gave me a manager to speak to, they eventually looked at my details and ADMITTED the cancellation hadn't taken place, then another 20 mins in silence, whilst they rectified their notes. They still expected ME to speak to their debt collection agency about their mistake! I refused and asked for an email to confirm this had now been resolved. I received an email later saying 'as a gesture of goodwill we have cancelled the debt/payment'. FFS - I don't OWE THEM ANYTHING!

Never ever, will I recommend their harassment and up-selling tactics. Two members of staff were extremely rude, shouting at me and trying to cut me off from explaining their inaccuracy.

They will reply to you after days, this really frustrating i can't believe that a well known company have such a bad service

After my experience with Ionos, I can say with certainty that I'd never deal with them again. They managed to deliver an unprofessional and unfriendly experience from the start. First, the contracts they offer are misleading and reflect their low standard of business ethics, for example they will include terms such as "30 day money back guarantee" in emails however they will refuse to honour it stating "the hosting contract that you have ordered does not have 30-days money-back-guarantee", why include that in the footer of the conformation emails then? However, the other main issue with Ionos is it's lack of customer support for the southern hemisphere, If you have an urgent problem with the hosting provider, you will need to wait until their customer service team wake up before you can get help, Their preferred method of contact is by phone which is useless if you are outside the small list of countries with their call centres in. It is for these reasons I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere for your hosting provider. Check out Bluehost a much better service and 24/7 support, definitely worth extra!

I tried out their free offer and was charged 13.00.no big deal...so I thought I would try to get my site up and running. Next thing I know, I'm getting all these emails saying that I have all these 'contracts' and my card will be charged in 7 days.I called them to say that I'm not paying and that i already paid...they lied and said that the payment I made was a 'deposit'...right...I then get an email saying that my cancellation was revoked...so, if they continue to bill me, they can have a nice little conversation with my lawyer!...Ummm...no! Called my bank and reported my card stolen...Nice try, Ionos...you're not getting another penny out of me! SCAM!

I had been reviewing their hosting plans for a personal project, and once I went in to make the purchase, I was someone redirected to a Wordpress Hosting plan that will only let you install Wordpress on it, and nothing else.

I tried to contact them to ask if it could be changed to a normal hosting plan, as pricing is the same. But it is impossible to do so, I am prompted to call them, which I can't do because I'm out of the states. So I wasted my money. At least it as only $12, but I'm hugely dissapointed, I should've stayed with Hostinger.

Worst service ever. No live chat avaiable at all. Support mail doest want to help to solve problem as fast as possible.

After withdrawing $137, no refund, no customer service returns email, lost that money and I am not using the service.

Ionos is one of the worst customer services. Most of their staff lack of knowledge and their staff require training. If you don't check your billing, they do the wrong billing. Zero rating

Bad experience with lack of customer care & unprofessional which is why we cancelled our hosting accounts with Fast Hosts & IONOS hence avoid at all costs. They are rude & do not provide the services as advertised which we have lengthy evidence to provide within emails. A previous case was upheld with Fast Hosts whereby the end resulted in an award for compensation & Fast Hosts did apologise in writing for rudeness & lack of professionalism & very poor customer care.
Will be also making sure Trading Standards are aware IONOS is unprofessional and caused us losses & stress as well as updating them with Fast Hosts. The reply is inaccurate as the main reason left Fast Hosts is they lost a case against them for mis-sold products by fraud team and then deliberately lost our websites and IONOS played a part as well. I am glad the case has now been uncovered as this shows you coerced them as threatening and abusive as you lost this case which in itself clearly provides the truth as to how dishonest you are!
We advised IONOS to close the account & not as they have declared which is yet another untruth & yet another error upon error with a lack of trained staff to manage the transfer of a group of websites & we have email evidence to uphold these facts which are showing the efforts to all be fruitless.

Do not recommend this company for web hosting. Greedy and always changing their pricing/plans. Should do the right thing for the customer versus what they think the right thing is for their pockets.

I had a website almost a decade ago for a couple of years. I still to this day get cold callers (who know my name) trying to sell me SEO, web design BS etc. Now they won't let me access my account, and therefore I cannot take my phone number off a directory for a domain that hasn't existed since Leonard Nimoy was alive and kicking. Every time I call these guys it's an international call, so it's very expensive to call them and be told I'm not who I say I am.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - THEY WILL GIVE YOU YEARS OF HEADACHES AFTER YOU CLOSE YOUR DOMAIN

First they tell you to start with a specific amount which later they request for some more, that was what they kept on doing to me until I escape their trap then I contacted the ic3. Gov that helped in withdrawing my funds and I was able to reach there Twitter handle

IONOS.CO.UK SCAMMING PEOPLE

This is a total scam service. I canceled this scammers company contract two months ago and they still charge my credit card! BE AWARE OF IONOS SCAM. I will report this everywhere I can to stop them from scamming people!

These fools keep calling my number over and over and they NEVER EVER leave a message so I have no idea what they even want! When I call them back they can't tell me why they called me?! What is wrong with these people? Like a bunch of children who decided to go into business but have no idea what they are doing or how to use a phone properly. Cancelling my account with them!

I have been with Ionos.com since it was 1and1.com, which unfortunately was when the site was easy to use and had upfront billing. I have 4 sites up with them, and 1 website parked so that I can put it online later, and have been on automatic payments the entire time (1 website for 10 almost years now). Today, I start getting calls from clients saying that my email is getting kicked back. I call up Ionos and they told me that the contract for the MAIN WEBSITE that I have with them was cancelled last year due to non-payment. This is the website for my construction company, which funds all of my other endeavors. The woman I spoke to said that I was short a payment from last year for $49.90, EVEN THOUGH I'M SET UP ON AUTOMATIC PAYMENTS. She said that if I made the payment, they would get my website and email back up immediately. She asked for a screenshot of the payment, so I sent it to her. That was at 10 this morning, it's now 2pm and I have been on the phone this entire time (listening to them talk in circles about why it's my fault, not theirs). Their invoices don't show what payment is going to what website and I have lost my mind (and temper) at this point. I can't believe that they would do this!

I am so frustrated. I was talked into some extra features a few months ago to get more traffic (SEO). I am finally trying it out. But can't get anywhere due to the website constantly baiting me to another page and directing me to buy more and different services. Also, hours were lost setting up Google Ads but when it came time to finalize, it didn't send the cell code authentication (which was a weird request). It was like a website error. I called in twice and finally found out I first have to pay at least $25 a month just to use Google Ads (which is another extra cost) as that's an "extra service". I hung up I was so angry about my lost hours trying to hack through something impossible and basically being scammed by my own web host. Requiring layers of subscriptions is one bad thing but letting you prepare all this marketing stuff on their form pages only to say you can't even do it is crap.
