Bought a 'certified' diamond ring from Invaluable for.$700 for my daughter's graduation. The first day a diamond fell out. I got the ring checked by a jeweller. The diamonds are fake. Invaluable denied all responsibility and did not return my emails. I have given up. I think they are criminals.
I won a bid on August 18th, to this day I am still waiting for my item over 3 weeks later. I filed a complaint with invaluable and they told me they are just a website host and have nothing to do with Auction house directly. This is an awful response! They told me I have to dispute my charges and they allow another week to hear from the auction house. What kind of company lets just anyone use their website to sell! This whole situation is being handled very poorly! I will not big with them again.
They are showing the values of the jewellery far too high and somehow they show it is sold for half price in auction. But if you search the item sold, it is not even as high valued as the sold price. Somehow they are always being sold to the people in auction which I am pretty sure arranged only by computer and no real sales! Unfortunately they can lure a few unsuspecting buyers on line to take the bate! Do not bid on this site, if you dont want to end up with big disappointment!
This site thinks that because you agree to the T&C's you lock yourself into a purchase even after you discover the item is a fake. And what's worse, they offer a 'certificate' of value and authenticity which wasn't worth the paper it's printed on.
Luckily I didn't pay and now the threats are coming full force.
I'd rather take my chances with the courts than be suckered into a purchase of a fake.
When confronted, instead of dealing with the issue that they offered an art piece which was not by the artist they advertise it as, they focus on me accepting the T&C's and accuse me of being a 'fraudulent buyer'!
It's a joke.
I have bid many times and have won 2 lots, the first one was June 23rd, which I have yet to receive, the second one actually was very smooth. My biggest concern is that I keep asking to receive a text alert on different lots I have bid on I have never received a text and lost out on many items. I have trouble getting on their "live bidding" and lost out on some bids due to that. This is not my favorite site.
Invuable has a BIG PROBLEM with their live bidding. This is now the THIRD TIME I have placed a bid live and it read "just missed it, try again!", then I instantly placed another bid, which read "bid sent", and the item sold to a lower bid "floor". I would of won the item for $50 and I would of re-sold it for at least $1,000, if not more. I called and the person on the phone said next time I should "clear my cookies". Um, my bids were SENT, nothing to do with cookies, your website SUCKS. Byebye invaluable!
Followed the auction instructions to the letter. Bid and received a confirmation "bid received" and a bidder much lower won the auction. Choose a different online auction company and avoid this one. I've used several sites with nothing but success but this one just does not have the tech savvy to run with the big boys. Sad.
I specifically asked them in an email what the condition of the item was. They wrote back describing it in detail except for the fact that it was snapped in half. They said it must have happened in shipping which they had wrapped and shipped. It wasn't a fragile item at all and the reason I asked in an email was because the broken part was the only part not visible in their photo. I couldn't return it and got no retribution. Do not buy from them ever.
* on the Gold Coast who have some connection to Invaluable are absolute con artists. They spot what they want themselves then pay next to nothing for it. They don't provide any sort of list for the product they load online then when the auction closes you have no idea what sold, whether the reserves were met or how many bids were on anything. People just turn up to pick up stock and there is nothing to show that the quantities being picked up are corrrect because they load things in multiples which only they know the exact number. They are not to be trusted, they totally manipulate the outcome of the auction to suit themselves and their friends.

I keep getting emails from Invaluable.com and I keep trying to unsubscribe. How do you unsubscribe from invaluable.com. The link doesn't work and if you try sending them an email to their customer care email account *******@invaluable.com it bounces. Not a nice organisation at all. Avoid at all costs
Won and paid for an auction lot through Invaluable. The Auction house had agreed to ship the large item to me if I won it. They haven't. They blame the shipping agent (who I have no contract with and have not paid...). Nine months later the shipping agent (UPS Store in Oak Ridge, TN) keeps lying to me, auctioneer (JD's Auctions, Clinton/Knoxville, TN.) has 'washed his hands' of it(!) and Invaluable tell me that they are in no way interested in trying to sort it out or help me get my money back. Bunch of immoral, unethical, thieving, lying fraudsters.
They sell FAKE ARTWORK -and not even good fakes. Bought a piece described as - lithography print, signed by Picasso in red crayon. Wish I did more research before I put in a bid. The art was shipped in a bubble wrap envelope, no cardboard, just the letter sized FAKE artwork and letter of authenticity printed on cheap printer paper and with a cheap printer. The FAKE artwork and letter of authenticity were both bent during shipping. You could see the print pattern on the FAKE artwork -clearly not a lithograph. The letter of authenticity was fake too, bearing a low res graphic of a notary stamp. The stamp graphic was so low res, you could see the pixels. DON't BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE. invaluable.com is a TOTAL SCAM! You'd get a better fake from the dollar store.
I Won a bid that was not honored. Called the parent company, Invaluable, about their member''s unwillingness to honor my winning bid. The member was Government Auction, who said the item was not available. I received no support at all from Invaluable after two calls to management.
Someone else wrote about it, unfortunately I only read it after an auction. I was surprised how invaluable even tried to encourage me to place a higher maximum bid than I did. Gave me a strange feeling... and when the auction started, it went up straight to my maximum and stopped there... Glad my maximum bid was only 50% above the starting bid, invaluable wanted to tell me I got better chances if I increased the maximum bid to 100% above... well probably they were right... there obviously was a better chance to pay a 100% above if I place a maximum bid 100 % above ;) Of course I cannot proove anything, that´s why 2 stars!
THOUSANDS OF FAKE FINE ART PIECES AND ANTIQUES/ANTIQUITIES ARE SOLD EVERY SINGLE DAY BY HUNDREDS OF AUCTION HOUSES ON INVALUABLE.COM. WHEN I EMAILED INVALUABLE INFORMING THEM THAT I HAD BEEN SOLD FORGERIES BY AN AUCTION HOUSE VIA THEIR SITE, AND AFTER LOOKING INTO THE AUCTION HOUSE FOUND OUT THAT IT IS A 100% FRADULENT COMPANY WITH A FAKE ADDRESS AND FAKE WEBSITE WITH ALL DEAD LINKS THEY NEVER RESPONDED TO MY EMAIL AND THE FRAUDULENT AUCTION HOUSE... ART LEGACY... IS STILL HAVING AUCTIONS EVERY WEEK WITH THOUSANDS OF WORKS THAT ARE ALL 100% FAKE! AND FOR THE SAKE OF MY OWN ABILITY TO MAKE SUCH A CLAIM... I AM A LICENSED ANTIQUES AND FINE ART DEALER IN CALIFORNIA BY THE CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE WITH A BRICK AND MORTAR GALLERY ON HOLLYWOOD BLVD (AS WELL AS AN E-STORE), AND I ALSO FUNCTION AS A PROFESSIONAL AUTHENTICATOR AND APPRAISER OF FINE ART, ANTIQUES, AND ANCIENT ARTIFACTS.
A scam site of the highest order. I've paid for 2 items I had the winning bid for and received nothing. I called invaluable and they blew me off and said to call the auction house. They also blew me off never returned phone calls or sent follow up emails as promised. This place is a total fraud. I hope the owners are exposed and go to jail.
Bought a print on the Invaluable site. Fortunately it was not terribly expensive, but I nave never received it. My credit card was charged. Couldn't even find the seller, Concept Art Gallery in California -- doesn't appear to exist. What a bust! Never again!
I dont know whether it is a fraud or not, or they work closely with auction house to con the monies from someone else. I won a bid on one of the auction and settled the amount immeidately, but more than 3 weeks I have not heard or received my purchase. Chase both the auction house and website, and they did not have any decency to reply what happened. Tried to chase them for the refund, and fingers cross to see if I see my monies back
I will give you a warning do not bid online on any thing from Morphy Auctions and invaluable web sight. Morphy are down right fraudulent lair's and i can prove it. I bid on a lot of items lot 113 through the invaluable web sight and won it for $450 add the buys premium and shipping it came up to a lot of money.
But when it arrived it was a different lot they sent me lot 112 when i complained they told me I didn't win the lot 113 that invaluable was telling me i won. They said lot 112. This went on for a while they keep on telling me i didn't win lot 113. Then they sent me a invoice stating i won the lot i had no idea about lot 112. Which was not on the invaluable sight of my winning auctions at all.
I rang invaluable and they were dumb founded they told me I had definitely won lot 113 and told me the name of the person who won lot 112. And get this Morphy have the same list as them and could not in any way be different as it was through their web sight.
After invaluable sent them a email asking them to explain they shut up and i haven't heard a thing from them, nothing, zero. What lying sc um.
Morphys had fraudulently doctored up a fake invoice, to this day i have not got my items with no explanation no apology and invaluable have not helped me at all.
I have the doctored invoice and items i don't wan't and are not worth the money I spent.
Morghy Auctions can not be trusted one little bit. Do not risk buying any thing from the criminals morphy actions.
Never recieved the item i had bid on... customer service is disasterous you get pushed around from one rep to the other and they all say we are just a platform...!
BEWARE! BEWARE!
Answer: Same thing happened to me. Don't wait, they'll give you mumbo-jumbo.
Answer: Because you take a cut but accept ZERO responsibility. When called on to help, you disappear. That's why.
Answer: After three different experiences buying through Invaluable, I can confirm and assure that all three pieces of art are fakes. They sell pieces under the name of the original artist and shield themselves in their terms and conditions, but the truth is that after more than five months writing to the support service, I haven't received any answer. The three auction houses are still repeatedly selling fakes and are doing nothing to stop it. Invaluable is protecting all these auction houses from fraudulent auctions. And this doesn't mean that all the auction houses that use Invaluable are fraudulent, but a VERY high percentage are. Just do a Google search to find hundreds of results on different pages and videos. It's a shame, this seriously damages the credibility of the industry. Shame! Stay away from Invaluable if you're looking to buy an original piece.
Answer: It more than likely means the item didn't make its reserve and was not sold.
