We purchase a three drawers commode through Invaluable 's online audition. The item arrived with all drawers locked ( unusable) We contacted the seller - PLUCkBAUM Auktionen in Bonn Germany and he assured us that the he himself locked the drawers and left the key inside. (?) Of course We had to spend more money to have the drawers unlocked and there were no keys inside. We asked Invaluable for help and weeks later there is no response from them.
Our experience with this site was disappointing. Dishonest seller and nonexistent customer service. We won't be using INVALUABLE again and we do not recommend purchasing through them.
I will never bid through Invaluable again. I was charged a whopping $77 fee on a $215 purchase, on top of the auctioneer's premium. There was no warning, no explanation, just the extra fee on my invoice. Considering what a crappy, glitchy auction portal it is, I can't help wondering what they're actually charging for? I already pay a monthly fee (to view past sales data), but at least they provide something for that. People should be aware of these hidden fees and bid directly through auction houses, instead of a third-party platform like Invaluable. I certainly won't be bidding through them ever again.
Attempted to bid on an item on their site for the first time. Never had any interaction with the site before. For some reason, I could not submit my bid. At first, Invaluable told me that the auction house (not Invaluable) had blocked me, but the auction house informed me that in-fact it was Invaluable, which has put me on their universal block list, which means I cannot submit bids on any auction on their site. My credit is perfect. As I said, I have never even been on their site before, but, nevertheless they have banned me. To make matters worse, they claim the decision was a "collective" decision and, therefore, they cannot provide me with any reason for the ban, and there is no one who can tell me anything. Quite ridiculous.
I felt sometimes discriminated and frustrated I could not participate in some of the Auctions. So I closed my account. Annoyed,
Crazy... There are so many prints on here claiming to be or suggesting they are originals! The info on the pieces, use the same description over and over.
The company's customer service is non existent. Invaluable has little to no influence over the dealers and the Auctions that are conducted on their platform. Invaluable is just a middle man that collects a fee. They claim no responsibility for anything. If you would like to deal with a fair business, please look elsewhere.
The situation below makes me believe that INVALUABLE allows and profits from sellers massively defrauding the platform's customers.
A friend of mine, who is also a VIP Invaluable member, bought an item via Invaluable platform from JB Military Antiques in Australia and I was acting on his behalf throughout the transaction.
After not receiving the WW2 belt and buckle for multiple months, I contacted the Auction in Australia and they said that the item was lost during the shipping process, but the have not provided any supporting evidence and any documents verifying that the item was lost and the copy of the shipping label. I have absolutely no clue whether the lot was either shipped to the wrong address, seized, lost, or even shipped at all.
After multiple unsuccessful attempts to get the information from JB Military Antiques, I contacted invaluable to help me in resolving the situation. After ten + emails, the customer service representative still had absolutely no clue what I wanted from them and saw nothing wrong that JB Military lied to me on multiple occasions and did not provide any requested documentation. As previously said, the goal of a customer care team is to run you around in circles and play dumb claiming no responsibility for the Auction's actions.
It is unbelievable that I have not received the LOT in four months and neither INVALUABLE or JB Military Antiques could provide any single documented proof confirming that the $700 LOT was lost.
I will never deal with Invaluable or any auction that works with this platform again. Complete scam.
I participated in a online bid for some items on this site. After successfully bidding and winning on four items, one of the four items was not awarded to me even though I was given an confirmation email showing I won. I believe it was due to the item selling for less than other sites sell it for. The seller gave no information other than saying it was "a clerk error". I feel like they are able to pick and choose what you bid and buy based on if they like the price.
Levy's Auction Palm Beach misleads clients relating to there shipping, they state they will organize shipping for buyers in-house but when you buy the item you want and email Levy's Auction for a shipping Quote, they pass you on to a local shipper, BAD BAD BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE because now they have your money and your at there mercy, they have your item and they have your money, now you have to get your own shipping quotes and run around, LEVY'S GETS NO STAR'S FROM ME, and further to my disappointment is that Invaluable's website review section associated to the Auctioneer does not allow you to leave feedback about the auction Company. BAD BAD BAD
This site continues to advertise and take a % of earnings from counterfeit art even after notified and offered official proof the art is fake (Many times accompanied by a fake COA) Be careful. I suggest you never buy anything in a frame because this is where most fakes either in stellar or poor condition are hidden. Aside from that, unless you see a Certificate of Authenticity from a noted expert you take an enormous risk here.
Federal Authorities have listed art Fraud as third in corruption to Drugs and Human Trafficking. You will see this played out on Invaluable and there is a no return policy on Auctions. Counterfeiters have hundreds of tricks they play to sell their garbage on this site and Invaluable turns a blind eye. In my opinion this site is worth the time of the FBI and or the U.S attorney for a full investigation. I'd love to provide testimony. As for the consumer, take your business to only the most reputable of Art dealers. Be safe.
Sellers on their platform are selling fakes and even if you can provide evidence the platform will do absolutely nothing to help you. The platform is entirely 100% on the side of the sellers in every single instance. There are tons of better Auction platforms out there who properly vet their sellers.
Blatantly allow mispresented auction houses for permitting reviews and do not even know or can communicate their policies how review process works. Do not waste your energy if you have questions, their customer support team is beyond unhelpful and cannot comprehend simple questions as it relates to their own policies. David needs a whole new team
I won't purchase from Invaluable again. First, the live auction was not possible to follow. Second, the hidden auction fees. Then a shipping delay of over two weeks, followed by a ridiculous shipping charge to get it to me as fast as possible. I actually got an email admonishing me that 'we cannot hold your item indefinitely'. Not a good platform, hidden auction fees, delayed shipping - stick with ebay
I have purchased several coins through them and only 2 so far have been correct the others have been advertised falsely advertised. I have paid for stuff over a month ago and haven't recieved. I'm not bidding on their site anymore
I felt compelled to write this review after reading so many negative reviews.
Invaluable auctions is similar to Liveauctioneers. They are simply a platform for user's to view auctions worldwide.
Most Auction houses sell fakes to the highest bidder. They offer no guarantee etc. With The exception of high-end auctions like Sotheby's and Christie's.
I have purchased 100's of items. 99% were bargains. A few items were fake.
Reader's and buyer's need to do their own research in both the auction house And the items before bidding...Ask questions!
Three times, over two different auctions, we have bid on-line, watched the bidding close for those three items, had the high bid (with an even higher max bid) and within 30 seconds after it closed, were told that we had lost the bid. There was no extension of time. There was no notice that there was a higher bid. This is incredibly frustrating and feels incredibly crooked. We will no longer be bidding through their service and would recommend the same for everyone else.
Invaluable is just another 'eBay', but for fancier more expensive things!
They are not held responsible for the Auction Houses that use them and so expect bad customer service, delays in delivery and items not as described
Please someone correct the spelling for Invaluable. It is not Invalubale! Customers are leaving it here and it looks ridiculous! Why is this left on the internet and picked up by Google? There is no company called INVALUBALE! Geez!
I have tried for an hour to bid.Despite doing the "registration" 6 times and being approved, I'm not permitted to bid. All I get is "pending" What the hell are you doing to preclude me from bidding in your auction? You're not the only game in town.I doubt that you'll respond, but I challenge to do so...
Absolutely no help. Really disappointing. Never answered my questions and appeared to accidentally hang up on me as there was some sort of distraction in their house. I've bought many auction items but I've never had to contact Invaluable before. I'll look for another platform. Terrible customer service.
Horrible site! I had the high bid and lost? Tried to contact site to no avail. Should be reported to BBB!
Answer: Same thing happened to me. Don't wait, they'll give you mumbo-jumbo.
Answer: Because you take a cut but accept ZERO responsibility. When called on to help, you disappear. That's why.
Answer: After three different experiences buying through Invaluable, I can confirm and assure that all three pieces of art are fakes. They sell pieces under the name of the original artist and shield themselves in their terms and conditions, but the truth is that after more than five months writing to the support service, I haven't received any answer. The three auction houses are still repeatedly selling fakes and are doing nothing to stop it. Invaluable is protecting all these auction houses from fraudulent auctions. And this doesn't mean that all the auction houses that use Invaluable are fraudulent, but a VERY high percentage are. Just do a Google search to find hundreds of results on different pages and videos. It's a shame, this seriously damages the credibility of the industry. Shame! Stay away from Invaluable if you're looking to buy an original piece.
Answer: It more than likely means the item didn't make its reserve and was not sold.
