THIS COMPANY IS A TOTAL RIP OFF. THEY ARE NOT HONEST OR TRUSTFUL. THE COMPANY HIRES ANYBODY & THE SHOPPERS THEY HIRE STEAL FROM THE CUSTOMERS BY NOT DELIVERING ALL OF THE CUSTOMERS ITEMS. THE COMPANY PUNISHES/PENALIZE THE CUSTOMER WHEN THEY REPORT THE BAD SERVICES BY REFUSING TO REFUND OR MAKE UP FOR THE POOR MATTER & PLACING THE CUSTOMER ACCOUNT ON RESTRICTIONS/BLOCK. AS A CUSTOMER YOU WILL DO BETTER LETTING WILD ANIMALS GO SHOPPING FOR YOU THAN ALLOWING INSTACART.

Excellent Service

First time today I ordered using Instacart why did I wait so long the service was impeccable with no issues at all they a variety of stores that you can buy things from I ordered food from Key Food and everything with the exception of one items I was able to receive this will be my go to when I want to order things

DO NOT WORK HERE! You can do all the work. Then they make a mistake and give you 5$ for two hours of work. I am launching a full class action lawsuit against this company! You accept a batch which is essentially a contract. If that contract cannot be completed due to the fault of instacart that is liable on them, they make you liable! Drop a like if you have evidence against them as well. I will creat a follow up post with details on the class action lawsuit as the process take shape

Instacart will take money out of your bank account to pay for a Year's membership without authorization just because it's in fine print doesn't mean people read that so if they're going to advertise everything else in bold print they should advertise the fact that after your free trial is over there will immediately take a whole Year's worth of pay and when you ask for a refund they tell you it takes 5 to 10 days to get your money back completely unacceptable it didn't take 5 to 10 days to take it out

I order delivery from Fred Meyer (aka Kroger) by Instacart every week. My orders are $150-175 and I live close to the store < 2 miles. I tip $20-25.00 each time. If I make the mistake of allowing substitutions, at least once a month the driver will add a couple of items for themselves. Usually it's $10-15.00. Instacart makes refunds for the missing items that are charged to me as difficult as is possible.
If I had one recommendation, it's watch your charges closely. Instacart employs shifty people. It's not a lot of money, but it is annoying. Instacart KNOWS that they have a problem, but they are completely unwilling to compensate you for their petty theft.

What is going on with Instacart? The last four times that I have ordered I get people that are delivering to me that are not even in the profile picture so to me, I think that's a danger for safety. Two my orders are always completely wrong. I ask for a pound of bananas and then I get one banana only, I ask for fresh, mild pico and then got some no-name brand hot salsa… the ice cream was completely melted by the time it was delivered and all over the bag…. I asked for three portions for my cat food. I got one.

The time before that, I got someone else's groceries of things and items that I don't even use or eat.

The time before that additional items that I could not use that was on someone else's order, they try to replace lunch meat because they didn't know where to look with some no-name brand.

Like Instacart hast to do better.

Overrated

Instacart charges way too much, you can use shipt and they pay taxes on your purchases. Instacart left a kroger cart at my house for my delivery.

Not only was this order a debacle, their customer service was less than willing to assist in the matter until I made it clear that what I received was not minimal "service". Then their manager couldn't be bothered to take my call after being placed on an extended hold. I am a single Mom in the care of a very sick daughter so I counted on them and they FAILED miserably. I now get the task of taking my sick child out in the cold rain to retrieve the damaged items your company refused to redeliver.

They don't honor your privacy rights regarding your privacy and personal information. Customer service doesn't help at all and privacy department never responds unless in a rude way. I won't trust this business ever again since my personal information is not safe with them plus unbelievable terrible customer service. Don't fall into their hands.

Shopper left the original store receipt in box. Instacart increased price of everything by 24%! Did you know they increase prices like this?! No! Absolutely no transparency on userous charges. 24% over charge is robbery! They charged me $172.76 for Costco groceries that actually sold for $139.10. No where in Instacart's info do they inform the consumer about this intentional overpricing.

Only able to get Instacart credit on a missing item, but in order to use my credit I have to spend a minimum amount, not including all the various fees. After having missed/incorrect items almost every time, I don't want to order from Instacart again. They force you to get Instacart credit so they are guaranteed more money out of you. What a rip off, terrible company.

I had 3 fraudulent activities made on my Instacart account. They did NOTHING to sort out the mess. Their customer service and Trust and Safety departments were unprofessional and they did not help one bit to help me get a refund. HORRIBLE experience with them. I have cancelled my account with them and will never use them again.

I have been working with them for almost 3 years,it's getting too bad,it's almost scam,they don't pay that much money,and they want you to shop,and deliver for almost nothing,very long distance,for nothing, and don't know why even the government still allow them to operate in the US,you could work with them for 7 hours,waiting for an order, and some one just to take this although, you can't make any money, and you end up with $29 the whole day,it's like a hundred year ago,this company should be stopped now.

First of all this afternoon i was ahving issue for ordering as app was having some glitch then when i was able to order then another glith.
On my side i can see correct delivery address for my home but at my delivery driver's end, different address was showing. Then i spoke to customer service rep who said we cant do anything. We r sorry. And then she said oh you know what you can delete the directions you mentioned with your address may be that the issue.
How can directions with my address cam be issue. Directions were its a side door down the black stairs.
Then she said we can just cancel and u can reorder.

I mean what if i dont have money to reorder and now i am also stuck with my refund to be processed in 5- 7 business days.

What if i reorder and app glitches again so i am again stuck with no groceries and second refund pending.

I mean cmon. You could have just told driver to deliver to this address by using google maps. She was not that far from me.

For all this inconvenience u were just sorry. Do better instacart
This was such a big inconvenience.

Bad services

Instacart is an overall company and so is Krogers for using their services I have nothing but bad issues with them the first time I never rcvd my order or a refund and the second time I requested within the 2 hours and never got my order until 4 hours later customer service is awful they will not refund your money I'm telling everyone stop using instacart and start using Shipt they are 1000 percent better than these scammers smdh

If you have a large order and it is delivered to the wrong address you are screwed. I used my EBT given to me and my family for an order for $356 and it was delivered to some rando and I'm still waiting for the EBT to be refunded 4 business days later. Not to mention that what I ordered and was enjoyed by strangers is now out of stock where I have to order from. Because the randos have it. I am furious. I was told 24 hrs. Then 48. The 3 business days. Wtf. I called DHS And they said this is illegal and the merchant should have a method to return the EBT money within 48 hrs since it is a state benefit. And it is fraud for anyone else to have received this benefit. When you call at night for help they all are in India and if I can understand then they are saying 5-10 business days. WHAT? MY KIDS need to eat $#*!s! Someone else has our food! I loathe this service. Don't make this mistake.
