Bought a pair of shoes, they are really cute. Nearly wore them out I liked them so much. Tried to order a new pair - but the company charges an "optional" return fee for every pair. Its only optional if you can delete the fee. No matter how many times I tried to delete the fee it kept showing up. Contacted the company three times about it - each time they told me to "just delete it" and inferred that I was an idiot for not being able to make the fee go away - or cheap because I didn't want to pay the "optional pre-return fee." Even if you manage to delete the fee from the shopping cart screen, the minute you try to actually purchase - the fee magically re-appears. That's not optional. That's a junk fee. If the company is that desperate to generate extra cash, raise the price. Junk fees are unethical. Oh, that's right - the shoes are already over priced. Luckily there are a lot of other shoe companies out there. I won't be purchasing from Inkkas.
TLDR: shoes are cute and people are insanely nice, but beware: quality is not work the price.
I have six pairs of inkkas, many from years ago. I recently bought a new pair because I loved the style. The quality has dropped so much in the last two or so years though! I had a pair of shoes I received in really poor quality right out of the box. It was not great. I had to send quite a few emails before finally getting them to offer to replace em them. They sent me a replacement pair and they let me pick another style, which was awesome. I really did appreciate my experience with customer service being kind. However, the replacement shoes I did not even get a chance to wear because the eyelet on the laces popped off immediately.
Sizing is tricky to get down, but the shoes are insanely cute. The issue is that they're just not well made. The cost is way too high for shoes that fall apart before you even get to wear them. I've had Walmart shoes hold up better.
The boots are lovely and comfortable but they leave BAD black marks on the floor. Ive tried to contact the company with no luck. Poor customer service no phone number. If you never wear them inside might be ok. But leavemarks every step of the way.
Wont let me up load pictures
Not a fan for several reasons. First, the quality is poor at best. I wanted to love these shoes (the joggers) but they lack support and the true colors are dull, not the vibrant pop of color displayed on the website. After a long wait finally received the vegan high tops. Good lawd! I could smell the fumes before I even took the box out of the plastic mailer bag. What kind of toxic noxious chemicals did they apply to this item? I'm going to try to air them out and wear them because I've already been through the nightmarish return process (where you CAN NOT get your money back) and refuse to do that again. I'm cutting my loses and not looking back.
Ordered three types of shoes, the slip on loafer, a jogger and a regular tennis type walking shoe. Even though I have a narrow foot these shoes fit horribly as they pinched at the base of the toes and were also too long for a standard size 8. Very uncomfortable shoes, they look cute but they would've been cruel shoes to wear. Also they will not respond to any type of email to Customer Service so you have to look back on the site to find out how to return and then they only give you a free shipping for seven days from date of receipt. So if you give these as a gift or don't open them right away, you may very well lose the free shipping back. And of course you lose the initial cost to ship to you which in my case was about eight dollars. But lesson learned to never re-order from Inkkas again.
I like how light weight these shoes are but after wearing a half day my feet hurt do to the lack of arch support or any type of support, I thought for the price and it being a running shoe there would be some support
Super cute shoes, good look. BUT blisters on my feet with 20 mins of walking. Tried to break it in with no luck. Just bad fit. Can't use
I have a pair of joggers and boots and I love them both. The joggers are super fun and comfy, AND I get compliments on them all of the time. The customer service is also top notch! I had an issue with my boots where an eyelet for the laces came out only after one wear. They promptly sent me a new one and I have enjoyed them ever since.
My INKKAS shoes are my favorite! The patterns are the best and I will definitely be purchasing more pairs.
I love the fact that the insole's are removable and I can put my own in. It makes me love them even more! I have four pairs of them!
Great quality, fun styles and colors, comfortable, and great customer service.
I have been wearing Inkkas slips ons, boots and hiking boots for 3-4 years now. I have over 15 pair (just a slight obsession!). From walking conference centers, to professional looks at work, to running errands and being outdoors, my Inkkas are the first shoes I consider when getting ready to go out.
Returns have been pretty easy, and had one exchange for a slightly higher priced item/larger size, and they made it easy.
I ordered two of the same shoe, just different pattern, and had to return one pair due to very inconsistent sizing. I kept the second pair and have had it for about a month. They are very uncomfortable and now they're coming apart as seen in the pictures below. I am extremely dissatisfied.
Waste of money I won't get back. Never received and no one answers emails. Won't buy again needless to say
Hope and pray that you do not need to make an exchange or return, THEY WILL IGNORE YOU FOR MONTHS... they make the process absolutely impossible. The sneakers also have zero arch support whatsoever. Not worth the cute factor if you ask me.
I've been trying to get a hold of this company for weeks and they keep giving me the runaround, but they have no problem taking peoples money. I will not be buying from them again.
Ordered shoes for wife a month or so before Christmas and there was no updates on when the order was going to be shipped, emailed a few times and I think I got a response once, after the shoes arrived (5 weeks after I ordered it) they weren't comfortable so we returned them using the shipping label they sent. When I followed up on the refund there was a generic response that it'll be processed within a certain number of days and then there was a random amount of $12.60 posted to my credit card account when I originally paid $81.62 including taxes and shipping!
I have since sent 3 follow-up emails and haven't received any responses or explanation on the refund amount, horrible customer service from this company! I will never order from them again, if I could give zero stars then I would be happy to do that.
I wanted to give this brand a try, but upon finding the shoe too narrow, I decided to return. The return process is a nightmare. They do not make it easy to initiate, don't refund full cost of shoes and deduct return shipping costs. I spent $94.25 initially ($84 for shoes, plus shipping). I was informed I would only receive a refund for $73.75. I returned the shoes really 2 months ago and still have not received the funds.
Do not purchase from this company.
The Cyprus slide is a completely different color than the website, which was obviously photoshopped to show a much better color.
Plus they small like chemicals.
This "save the world" company better save their own company first.
Two stars because the look of the Cyprus high tops is gorgeous. But I literately can't wear them. Though these fit correctly in length/width, the metal grommets on the sides dig into my bones and these don't seem to be designed for human feet.
I was given a pair of Inkkas Rooster sneakers for Christmas, and I can't praise them enough. I have wide feet and high arches, which means I have a very difficult time finding shoes that fit and support. I was pleasantly shocked that these regular-width sneakers are wide enough and offer excellent arch support - and they are so unique and beautiful! I wore them to an art exhibit in Boston where I was on my feet for 6 hours, and I had zero pain and lots of compliments (they stood out enough that people looked down at them from the art on the walls)! I love my Inkkas and they are definitely my go to footwear now.
Please note that I did alter them by replacing the stock white shoelaces with no-tie laces because I have mobility issues due to lumbar spine trouble.
