I'm confused as to how this works? Sharing, maintaining the digital copy...

The videos that were transferred were great and fun to watch. I only wish I had sent in some sooner before the damage was done to those that were too moldy to transfer.

I had two VHS tapes converted to digital to try out the process and it was a very positive experience.
The account was easy to set up, the communication from the iMemories team let me know when my materials were received and within a week, the tapes appeared in digital format in my iMemories account. My original materials were returned to me soon after. I downloaded the app to my TV as well, so now I can watch my 10 year old self be silly on television. I will definitely use this company again.

Our parents were the gatekeepers of family photos and videos that had been taken over the course of their lives, their parents' lives, and now my brothers and my life. Total quantity was about 20,000 videos and photos! Had we not decided to take the dozens of boxes to iMemories, many of these precious memories would have simply been lost forever. IMemories did the impossible - they sifted through 75 years of dozens of boxes and digitized our family's amazing history. Memories that could have been completely lost, we now have for ourselves and our children. Excellent and quick turnaround
Received my films back quickly

The process was quick and I was able to easily share my memories. I ordered the Zip drive after discovering your memories are only viewable on the site for a limited amount of time (about 4-5 weeks, I believe) unless you sign up for a monthly fee, which I did not want to do. I received my Zip drive quickly.

Easy process, glad to be able to pass on family memories to my sister in law

I sent about 15 Betamax tapes and 4 8 and 16 mm films for processing. I knew that some were possibly tv shows and cinematic movies. Since they were from my father in law, I had them try to record all of them. The home movies we got back were great. You need to remember that the quality of older recordings were done at lower resolutions than today.

Some of the beta max were tv shows and cinematic movies. As I knew, I still had to pay for the processing. The harder part was that they said three of the tapes were too old and damaged to be processed. I got an email about the broken tapes. However, the email could not be matched to the tapes because there was no reference to a number or index on the tapes. They used names they had created for the tapes, but the names were not on the tapes either. It would have been nice to be able to match the damaged tapes to the email to see if someone else might have been able to fix the issues.

Although some of our slides were lost for a time the customer service worked hard to recover the missing pieces. All ended well and we are very thankful!

Had an old film roll developed. It was old so it came out a bit blurry but I didn't have high hopes. Glad they could even digitize it!

Need to go to imemories app to play movie you digitized does not work on tv
