When I decided to submit my VHS tapes to iMemories, I was apprehensive as anyone might be. Upon ordering, the instructions they included were perfectly detailed and easy to follow. The turn around time was so short as in just a week or two. My tapes were delivered the same way. I would highly recommend iMemories.

My videos had no sound. I contacted them and was told that my videos were recorded with no sound. However, on one if you turn your volume all the way up, you can barely hear some patchy sound so I know they were recorded with sound.
Videos turned out great! But I didn't realize the app had to paid for on top of it once you received your videos. That was we disappointing

I sent several 60 yr old 8mm films in to be digitally transferred. The process did not take long at all. Within approximately 4 weeks I received my notice that they were completed. It was easy to download and share with family members. I was very pleased with IMemories.

Hi Cathie, Thanks for your feedback. The film reels we received were silent. This is very common with film reels as the audio strip wasn't introduced until the early 1970's. The cameras did not have built in microphones and the film that included the audio strip was much more expensive. You can look at the film reels themselves to determine if they have audio. We do this when the order is received and again when they are processed. A film with audio will have a gold or copper colored strip on the underside of the film, on the opposite side of the sprocket holes. If you see this, we can certainly reprocess the films for you at no charge. Please do not hesitate to reach out and discuss this with us at 1(800)845-7986.
