I sent in vhs tapes, slides, movie reels and was very pleased.
I sent in 13 micro video cassettes, some from nearly 20 years ago, not certain of the content, but knowing they captured important times in our lives. I did not, however, realize how happy it would make all of our family to be able to sit down and watch these gems from our past! Thank you, iMemories, for making that possible!

After many years of holding on to VHS tapes, it has been so nice to show our family the memories from many years ago especially the weddings, baptisms, Christmas and other events both large and small. We have many photo albums but seeing and hearing voices of past and present family members (some who are no longer with us) has been touching for myself, my extended family and especially the grandkids. Thank you iMemories.
They did a great job of converting 8mm home movies to a digital format. I like the "take a picture" feature. It allowed me to stop the video and snap picture of people we've lost and share them with family and friends, Everyone loved getting the snapshots.
Totally recommend this service. Very happy with the results from conversions of 40 year old videos. Getting ready to submit additional videos.

4 missed slides but only redid 3 from my original conversion order of videos and slides. Not happy with the hassle of sending them back to be redone.

I received the thumb drive I ordered, and I assume you will send me my originals soon through Fed Ex.
I did notice that some of the digitalized videos were hazy at times, but perhaps that was because I logged in with the Computer version 3. Computer 2 was clear, but the images were smaller in the cloud.
I will let you know how clear the thumb drive is when my daughter checks it. My computer does not have the connection to a drive. I have to find an adapter.

I was on TV News and HGTV shows on two tapes that could not be copied despite proof that they 1. Copyright permission not available ABC 20/20 and 2. HGTV/Discover said the production firm was out of business. I paid for... nothing. The other two tapes were great memories.
The experience was great except for the fact that after I spent the money, I was told that now I need to purchase the iCloud space and that my time to get the materials to the iCloud was time sensitive. I would have wanted to know this upfront so I could have thought about and planned this out.

Sent 4 tapes, 1 split hoping they'd repair it for me and they did! I'm so happy to be able to have these memories back to be able to watch with my children and many more times in years to come! Now I'm going to send out my parents tapes to have digitalized! Thank you iMemories!
