Well worth the money. We have enjoyed many happy times we had completely forgotten about. We laughed till we cried.
I have over 25 old VCR tapes, some labeled and some not. I put them all in the box and shipped them off to Imemories. We were so surprised and happy when we received a message that the videos had been processed. I shared them with my sons and other family members and they brought back wonderful memories. I had the camcorder going all the time back in the 80s and I didn't even realize I had such wonderful memories. I actually have more old VCR tapes that I'm going to send out as soon as possible! I wasn't the best videographers so some of the old VCR recordings weren't that great but Imemories restored them as best as possible and we enjoyed watching them.
The sound is often garbled. Not in all the videos, but in enough of them to make me question if it was the video cassettes or imemories. A lot of money spent for this kind of result. Would have figured imemories reviewed their work and if there was a sound issue with the tapes, I would have been given a heads up. Who knows, at least I can watch them.
IMemories took almost 2 months to get my data transferred and then did it in small pieces over several months. I was not satisfied with my experience with iMemories!
The kit to send all my precious memories off to you was so easy to pack - it had everything I needed in it. You kept me aware of each step in the process and as a repeat customer I noticed that my electronic copies were available to me quicker. I also appreciated the 25% off coupon.

IMemories brought back to life memories. I had 6 reels of film. Only one was identified. When iMemories converted my reels to digital I was very surprised to see my mom and dad's wedding and them my mom pregnant with me. Just imagine how overwhelmed with joy I was, currently I'm 63 years old and only seen photos but not live film. I also saw my grandparents, whom I so adored. I'm very satisfied with their service. I highly recommend iMemories.
I thought it took a long while. You did keep in touch. When they arrived, I was ready to cry how dark to cover photos were. BUT not the case on the DVD's. They are so far as I am enjoying. The only negative issue was, I thought you said sometimes there was not very much on some of the Tapes. I thought you were going to consolidate some of the DMD's. But did not. I was somewhat disappointed, BUT a great movie photographer I am not. Thanks for your time. I appreciate what you did. I have been wanting to do that for years.
The quality of my videos was not great. They have not returned my originals weeks after o have asked for them back.
The labeling of most of the videos were incorrect. There were some duplicate videos put into other files. Most importantly, some of the videos were not digitalized as they claimed it was copyrighted (which it was not), it's all home videos but they claimed otherwise. Just received my videos back and still sorting out the mess and files online.
Based on their advertisements, I really expected the quality of my prints and videos to be much better.
They delivered what they promised. I'm very pleased.

I had a difficulty downloading files but I called customer service and they were very helpful and stayed with me until they were sure downloading was in process. I really enjoyed watching old movies my father took when we were children back in the 60's and 70's. Priceless memories.
I would definitely recommend digitizing old 8mm film. You never know when they be unable to continue viewing them on a 8mm projector.
I now have digitized files that I can share with family members and grand daughter.
