Working with Imemories was very easy-to-use. We had many VHS tapes of our children growing up but they were not easy to view, and we were worried they'd get lost or be destroyed and we wanted to pass them on to our children. I memories digitized them for us and made available online. The whole process was very simple.
They look great! I want to put them on a photo stick.
Took longer than I expected, and spelled my daughter's name wrong on the titles... Isabella versus ISABELLE... but great to see all my memories of my kids as babies!
I finally took the plunge to have my media digitized after years of "I need to get that done" moments! Sharing with family, seeing their smiles, hearing my 40 year old son thank me for the Christmas presents he received in 1986, these moments are priceless! This entire process was seamless, from requesting the mailing box to enjoying the final product, and I would recommend this service to everyone interested in preserving their memories. You will be glad that you took the plunge too!
If I would have read these comment prior to ordering, I would have never chosen this company to transfer my analog to digital vcr tapes. The quality was so poor that I could not even make out what I was looking at. It appears they stick your tape into a machine, walk away and box it when it is finished. Any profession would at least review a few minutes of their results and figure out somethin is wrong here. They are the worst. Buyer beware.
They were much darker than the originals and one is so bad, I can't see faces
My dad passed away, and when going through his home, I found a box of old VHS tapes. VHS were one of the worst ways to keep memories as they are an unstable media. Visually, I could see some tapes beginning to deteriorate, so it was a priority to try and save as many memories as possible. Imemories makes it easy to just send in all the tapes, and now I have them backed up a 2 portable hard drives for redundancy. The service is moderately priced, i wish there was a discount on bulk orders, but its still worth it.
Thank you for converting my m Morris to digital format! I thought I had lost the opportunity to do so, and then I memories... how special this is to me! Timely service, easy process! Thank you!

Still have not received items back yet, but expect to when waiting period for any unforeseeable problems has passed.
I am happy with the results and up to this point would recommend iMemories to anyone.

Very professionally done; a bit slow in processing, but good experience
I am so happy with my experience with iMemories! My mother passed away in 2012 and I have not heard her voice in years. I saw an add on Facebook about iMemories and figured it was the best way to be able to see my old home movies since I do not own a VCR anymore. I love that I was able to share the videos. Everyone was so happy to see them. IMemories also mailed me back all my movies in a nice compact box all wrapped individually. I plan on sending more movies in. Do not hesitate to do this if you are thinking about it!
I sent in my VHS and 8 mm tapes and paid over $200 then have to pay monthly to view them? I feel this is a rip off! For that price you should have made me DVD's and sent them to me.
I'm very glad I got my old videos digitized. It's really great to be able to share them from the app. I will be sending in some more. Great experience with this service. The only videos I have of my mom. Very special.
