Some were almost too dark to see and some had static spots. However, some - like family etc. did give me a lot of joy. I'd say it's worth it if i can get them downloaded and viewable permanently. Paying almost $100 and not having anything to show for it sounds like a scam. I am afraid of this happening because the instructions for viewing and keeping the films are not clear at all. I've made several calls. Each time the person on the phone is congenial and helpful. I do write things down but It just won't come on.

I was hesitant to send my videos initially. They are precious to me and irreplaceable. But, as many of you are also thinking, I had no way of enjoying them anymore. I could only relive them by playing them in the actual handicam, or on a vhs machine. And who has one of those!?!?! They became worthless…. So I sent them all. It was a great decision. The entire family can (and has) watched these old memories of our lives. The quality is superb (only limited by the initial quality of the videos). And the memories are…once again, priceless.

Access to online videos that were transferred was great. However, some of the videos could have had better audio and enhancements of that. It wasn't clear on the website, which types of tapes they transfer and don't. So, some of mine had to be sent back to me.

My mother passed away in 1984, I was 9 years old. I have next to no memories of her aside from what I've been told or seen in pictures. The 8mm reels I found I assumed were just of time prior to my birth. I decided after seeing an ad on Facebook to get them together and give iMemories a try. I didn't have any other way to see what was on them so why not? I was so excited when I got the email stating I could view online. I have not seen my mother "In motion" meaning I've seen pictures only. I am grateful to have been able to see a glimpse of my parents before I was born and even a few of me from the time I was born, learning to crawl and walk. I had never seen them! I didn't have high expectations because of the fact the reels are over 40 years old. I was pleasantly surprised at how they were able To salvage what they did. My only wish is that I had more! Thank you for allowing me to step back in time to experience things I otherwise wouldn't have.

It is a wonderful way to get all the camcorder tapes (any format) digitalize for viewing. It has been very fun to watch these recordings. My 25 year old daughter was able to view our initial meeting (following her birth! I loved watching her smile! I was almost 100% satisfied... the digitalized version of VHS recordings of our wedding was not the quality I expected. The VHS tape was stored properly, I'm not certain why the quality was poor when digitalized. I still plan to send additional material for digitalization.

I worked for a company that uses IMemories, but never wanted to send my tape in through my company. Then I seen an ad on Facebook with a discount and finally sent my camcorder tape in. I clicked on my link get a prepaid label, sent my own box, less then 7 days got my videos. Quality & sound awesome! Price you can't beat. Returning my original tape with tracking number and no problems. I will use them again if I come across any photos, negatives, etc. Thank you
