I received a box quickly to send my VHS tapes in. They sent an email when they received the package. They were able to put all 21 tapes online within 2 weeks. They told me when they sent my tapes back. From start to finish it was about a month in time. I received my imemories just in time for Christmas to share with my family!
I was disappointed in the quality - mostly too dark and/or fuzzy
The only issue is that I was using an old version your website that didn't allow me to download. I called and was told about the 3.0 website that worked great for downloading but I had issues getting to it. Had to try multiple times each time I tried to log in. Otherwise very easy to send in materials, download, and received items back.
As the pandemic started, I worked on a project to have our family slides digitized. I had used Legacy Box, and when I had them ready per their specifications, sent them off. Four months later, I received a digital file and it was blank, literally there was nothing in it. When I called to inquire, I was informed that they only did 35 mm slides, and apparently what I sent in was not that. How disappointing. When I called to inquire, I was told mine were "127 slides", (Kodachrome and from the 1950's to 1980's) which they did not convert. I then saw Imemories come across my social media. I called them to ask if they converted 127 slides, and was told they did. I was skeptical given my experience, so I waited. I called them a second time, they assured me they did convert this type of slide. So I ordered the kit, and sent them in again. I literally just put 1,600 slides all in their box. This was the first week of December, and I was told upfront they would not be available until after Christmas. Much to my surprise, and delight, before Christmas, I received an email with the link saying my slides were ready! There were about 1,600 in total. What a Christmas gift, as I logged on and saw pictures of my parents, grandparents, and myself on my very first Christmas so many years ago. The quality of the pictures is beautiful! I am now organizing them, getting them ready to share with many relatives. The cost was even less than Legacy Box!
As I make my way through other family pictures, you can be sure you will receive another order from me. Great job Imemories, keep up the fabulous work!

I am so thrilled with the digital copy of my 1989 video tape. The memories are priceless and now they are safely stored. Awesome job! I would recommend iMemories to anyone!
First time I called, Customer service was great, but when I emailed them their response was not custom to my questions it was a generated response. I got charged 100 for 13 minutes of an 8 mm reel and that seems very expensive to me! Paid over 300 dollars for 3 reels to be converted totally 40 minutes of memories. It's little too expensive. I wish they would let you preview what's on the tape/reel before paying.
My old negatives were sitting in the garage for over 30 years and sent them to you all, safe and sound with little effort. All the negatives converted beautifully. Thanks so much and for sending them back safely.
A note to point out, most were pictures from the 1st gulf war and it would have been virtually impossible to replace them if lost.

I am confused about being able to download the videos. I tried sending them to another email address but they didn't go through.
I was worried the tapes were so old they would not be able t transfer them. I am happy with the results. A couple are grainy but still viewable. Good job!
