IMemories converted 60+ year old 16mm film into digital. It was amazing to see my parents and a dear friend again.
I expected more. When I received my videos that were not viewable, I question my decision to get my videos converted. There wasn't any notification on my videos or even on the imemories website that some of my videos could not be converted. Instead, there are videos that are clearly not properly converted which gave me the impression of the company just recording my videos without any concerns for quality.
The only thing I would offer is I get it that titling sets of pictures is difficult! If you have a lot of sets having each one have some sort of numerical identifier would help ensure that they were all successfully downloaded at a glance! With names I had to keep comparing my list of albums with those downloaded and then check my computer to see if they all transfer! I had over five hundred pictures! So this could have taken less time with numerical labels
I never dreamed I would be spending a total of $56.67 (WITH a 25% discount) for two very short VHS tape conversions. First they charge you $16.04 for a box to ship the tapes to them in. Then they charge you $14 to return those tape back to you, which is non-negotiable. I did not want the tapes returned. They will be tossed into the land fill when they arrive but you have to pay for their return whether you want them or not. I'm sick. I wish I had done more research on other companies before using iMemories. Just be aware of the sneaky underhanded charges.
I like the digital conversion, however I wish I had gotten dvds made also. Is it too late?

I sent my digital tapes in for conversion and received an email once they were received. I then was made aware as the tapes were converted. I appreciate the care that were taken with my families memories.

I submitted 15 tapes to iMemories before Christmas and a dozen tapes to one of its competitors. I have since submitted more tapes to iMemories. My downloads from iMemories have generally been ready within a couple of weeks. I am still waiting on my December order to their competitor.
I took videos of my grandchildren as they grew up & now they get to see themselves through the eye of their Nanny's camera, now that they have been digitized through iMemories. Great service! I am so glad & happy with your Service.
Love being able to view family memories from my phone or laptop! My only concern is that some of my previous digital videos uploaded about 5 years ago have some quality issues which is strange and random.

Great experience. I have all my videos and now I can view them all! Could have done with an email or two that my multitude is in process and how many were completed, but overall I love it!
I'd like too know how I can get the video transferred (by you) to a thumb drive rather than a DvD.
My Imemories experience was nothing but great! Easy to follow instructions, easy to access after the conversion and quick turnaround. So fun to see all our family videos after 30 years!
