Enjoyed finally getting to watch our videos. Had no problems.
Fairly painless process to send our VHS tapes and have them digitized.
Haven't seen these for decades! The only negative is that the files seemed to be randomly combined into videos.
So I had to go back thru the digital files to break them apart and reassemble in groups by the date stamps on the actual videos.
We also sent about 7 or 8 tapes that were not labeled and, since we no longer have the ability to view them (the reason we needed them converted) I have no idea if there was even anything on those tapes. So we paid for all 17 tapes and still don't know if there was anything on the unlabeled tapes.
However - it has been really great to share the old family videos with our 5 year old granddaughter!
While the imemories process does require a little more than just dropping the recordings off somewhere, it is cheaper than doing that. Also, the digital memories are easily viewed on the imemories site from any device.
One video was very dark couldn't see much. I was wondering if there was anything you could do to lighten it up?
It was pretty easy doing this with the old family slides. I was able to download them onto a thumb drive once available to me. Price was not bad at all. Think I will do a few VCR tapes next!
So great having all of our family videos and photos digital… we had a lot of old reels, slides and tapes from our families that we couldn't watch. So great to view all our old movies and share with the family. What a treasure! Worth the money! We now ordered a digital video camera to start recording new videos. Priceless!

After my order was put up digitally on I Memories, I could not stop watching. Brought back joy of my childhood and also tears, seeing family members that are no longer with us; but to hear their voices once agin gave me the chills! I was going back and forth about having them converted, now I am glad I did!
I placed my order and was very impressed with the response time. The videos turned out great. I didn't realize however that I would have to pay a monthly fee to continue to enjoy them. I tried saving to a thumb drive, but so far have been unsuccessful.,

This has been a very satisfying experience. I cannot wait to share my converted tapes with my friends and family. I do wish that the options were stated clearer than they are. I am confused as to what options are open to me for keeping the digitized memories. I am not tech savvy at all. I am so glad that I went through this effort with iMemories, and am very satisfied, but I do think that the options available could be made clearer and explained better.
My videos to digital were fine. They couldn't improve the sound quality but that's ok, probably bad filming! Anyway, good overall conversion.

It has been so nice to find a company that transfers my old video cassettes that were sitting in a drawer to digital format. Relieved so many memories. A couple of them were damaged due to mold inside that I wasn't aware of but the rest were good. I sent in some negatives as well for pictures and everything was transferred to my account digitally and was easy to save to my external hard drive. I sent in a second batch of video cassettes my mom found since I recommended it and we got a nice discount! Highly recommend!
