I had been wanting to convert our VHS tapes to digital for a long time. When I saw the facebook ad, I decided I was going to quit thinking about it and do it. We were very pleased with the customer service and also the product that we received. In fact, I am digging for more memories to send to Imemories for more of the same. I highly recommend this company, they are legit.
The videos I received have been a lovely trip down memory lane. I do feel that not all tapes/videos were converted, even tho' I paid for all to be done. I cannot clarify at this time, as I have not had a chance to compare.
I found this company and the way they do things confusing. I still do. Also I received about 3 videos that weren't mine and I have at least 2 videos that I don't see that I am pretty sure I sent. Also I haven't had time to check but seems like I received back fewer than I sent, but also they packed more efficiently so I am not really sure. Some videos that I could play and hear the sound fine came back and there was breaking up of the sound in the videos. So I thought they cleaned these videos up if they could and enhance them I really didn't notice that. But maybe I confused what they actually do. Regardless of all that I find their site confusing
Imemories did convert my home videos from video to digital quickly, and I was happy to pay $300 for this service. It was not disclosed to me until one week after my digitized videos had been transferred that I would only have 30 days total to view them unless I started paying an additional storage fee. I must have missed the small print, but it was not prominent when I made this purchase. I will now need to make an additional $50 purchase of a thumb drive or pay a monthly or yearly fee. I wanted others to know before they make their initial purchase what to be prepared for.
I sent 720 photos to iMemories. They scanned all of them and I was able to download the photos to my devices. The quality of the scans is excellent. They returned my originals to me in perfect condition. What a huge task completed! What a huge relief! I am very happy with this company. I would definitely use them again!

I sent 8mm tapes, VHS tapes, and disc to iMemories to convert digitally. It was amazing to see them appear on-line and we downloaded them easily. Some of these 8mm were 50 years old. I received the tapes and discs back in a timely manner. Don't hesitate to trust them cause I am impressed.

Everything went very smoothly. As scarey as it was i put the photos in the mail and got them returned with no problems. So I have actually got a second batch headed your way. Now it is up to me to figure out how to manipulate the information. I actually have pictures on a couple different platforms now. I want to combine them all, delete duplicates, label, sort and get them all organized.
Most of what I sent them were 8mm tapes so the quality was very good when they converted them. Because I had no way to view anything before I sent it in, I sent in several tapes that I really didn't even want once I saw them so that is an expensive mistake but I don't know how to avoid it.
I was able to watch my 8mm tapes from over 30 years ago! It was simply wonderful! The time has simply "melted away", but those precious memories are forever! Thanks! If you're wondering if you should convert your old tapes with iMemories, Just Do It! You won't be disappointed!

They took my ancient VHS and video tapes from my hand-held video camera, from 20+ years ago, and brought them to life. Amazing experience. I now have access to all of them, including pictures, too, anytime I want to go back and reminisce. I also subscribe to their yearly storage plan, so I can have quick access to any of the videos or pics l need. Their customer service is extremely helpful, and kind.

I am very pleased with the service I received from iMemories. I called for clarification on shipping and the ability to edit the online media once received back. The representative that I spoke with was very pleasant and helpful in answering my questions. The shipping container that they sent for me to send them my video media was great and included large zip up plastic bags to keep my media dry in case of any exposure to wet conditions during the shipping process. When completed they returned my media in a very similar manner and well packaged. I haven't yet completed my editing as I sent in over 40 separate media units to be processed but what I've completed so far has worked out great. My media types were VHS and Mini DV. I would certainly use iMemories again to digitize my media. Thanks again iMemories.

We offer free downloads during the 30 days so it is easy to backup all media without any additional cost necessary. Getting a physical product like a drive or DVDs is additional, after the 30 days our subscription is optional for long term access and storage.
