We had tried a different company who digitizes old VHS and Super 8 films and were very unhappy with them. They took nearly four months to get the work done and when it was complete, the product was so so. IMemories was so much better; they did a great job of keeping us informed of the status of our job and turned it around in about 48 hours once they received our films (27 in all). The quality was better than we expected since some of the VHS tapes were 25 years old (or older). What was really nice was that if we sent them an old VHS tape with perhaps 5 or 6 or 7 different clips on them, when they put the albums up online, they broke them all down, so it was so much easier to figure out each segment. We were able to put together a nice compilation for each of our children and eliminate the poor filming we did. We'll definitely use them again (in fact, we already have) and would highly recommend using them to save your old films and memories.
As advertised. I appreciate that they used the titles I had on the labels. All seems good! I downloaded them to a USB flash drive, but not sure why I get a message about loading a set disc? But I viewed a couple of them and they seem fine.

I was so afraid of deterioration of all of my VHS tapes from when my kids were little! I now have them all on digital so that my family can watch them whenever they are feeling nostalgic!
I was skeptical about sending my twenty 8mm reels, and twenty 8mm cassettes to any company. I called four companies to get some kind of comfort that my tapes would be handled in a manner that would give me the confidence to do business with them. After I spoke to a customer service rep from imemories, I immediately knew they were the perfect option. As it turned out, I made the correct decision. There was constant contact with them at every step of the way. They could not have done a better job and I would strongly recommend them to anyone needing this service.
Sent in a load of old VHS and mini VHS tapes. I had no way to play them so didn't really know what I was sending. It was SOOO much fun to watch the videos with our kids once they were uploaded. And all my tapes came back in perfect shape. Would definitely recommend!
