They converted my files quickly, but I don't think they did anything to address the tracking on the video tapes. I watched the videos not very long ago and the quality was much better than the converted digital files. Also the audio on many of my mini-disc and mini cassette conversions is really poor and some of it doesn't seem synced with the video. I'm not sure there was any quality control. Just plug it in and convert without actually looking at the product...
Using Imemories was so easy! We are in the middle of moving, and I found our old VHS tapes and some camcorder tapes. I did a quick Google search to find the top rated company to convert to digital and Imemories came up. I followed the instructions on their website, and within a couple of weeks I received my first email with my memories. Some of the videos I had forgotten we had taken and it brought back so many wonderful times in our lives when our children were little. Vacations, birthday's... One video in particular I was anxious to get back was my wedding day. I lost my father over 16 years ago and getting to see him again on video was very emotional. I got to hear his voice and see him alive. I can't describe how grateful I am to Imemories for bringing these wonderful times in our lives back to us. In the midst of our move I have found additional items and will be using this company again and again. The process was extremely easy, they took exceptional care of my items. I made specific notes about where I needed my videos to be returned and they paid attention. Thank you Imemories. This company and what they do is fantastic!
Process was smooth and quick. Just wish the quality on the video files was higher. Used a similar tape converting service over a decade ago on some of the same tapes and those looked higher resolution with less file compression.
Im very happy tohave those home movies that are from the seventies eighties to 2009 but my very old fifties that i sent didnt come out too well i do have the original eight mm reel to reel that im hoping ro send you
Digitizing was fine. Not very upscaled as promised, but glad to have the files. Very confusing website because I wanted DVDs too, but gave up trying to figure out how to add that option (also the DVD add was so expensive -- I know how cheap DVD-Rs are, and there's no way it needs to be that much extra. I understand there's an extra charge for time/labor/profit, but it was excessive).
The experience was easy and seamless. They send you the box and label, fill it up and ship it back. I even forgot my password and the customer support was amazing and quick to help.

Thanks for taking the stress out of converting all of these tapes to something we can actually watch now that videorecorders are not "the thing". I sat on my old 8mm home video tapes for far too long. Once they were converted (rather quickly, I will add) I binge watched them like a Netflix series.

The best to sit back an watch my memory of days gone by. My oldest granddaughter was just 1 an is know 22. Just so precious. Make me cry to see all those that have passed an hear them. Brings them so close I can all most feel them again. Working on next order of old tapes.
