This service is expensive, but comparable to other similar services (they're all a little spendy - over $200-$300 depending upon what you order. I wish the iMemories app and the website were more user friendly as I feel they are a little clunky and hard to understand at times. I didn't like that my 3 reels of film were each broken up into 2 or 3 MP4s instead of being created on just one. That is like ordering a DVD and getting 2 or 3 DVDs instead of just one. I plan to get these same films digitized by Larsen Digital so I can compare them with iMemories. All that said, though, I got to see color footage of my mom and dad leaving the church on their wedding day in 1960--something I had never seen before and neither had my dad! I didn't even know that was on these films (a distant cousin gave them to me). That turned out very nice and worth any hassles or expense.

The conversion was done in a timely manner. I'm satisfied except they came out a little dark.
IMemories made this whole process painless and ultimately, very rewarding. My family and I have had a lot of fun watching the old home movies.
Being unsure of the process, I phone imemories and asked questions. I was greeted by employees that had patience to explain to me how it all works. Step by step they led me through the process. And if I had additional questions that came up, even the very next day, I was always greeted pleasantly and with a willingness to ensure my confidence of what was happening with my films and slides.

Overall great service on transferring tapes over to digital. The only improvement I could ask for would be the fee structure seemed to be per tape instead of length of recordings. I didn't know what was on each tape when I sent them in but all of them had very little recordings on each - meaning none of the tapes were full length of recordings. I thought that might factor into the pricing but great experience otherwise and was offered a 50% off coupon so that helped.
I should have done this year's ago! When I had questions their customer service people were very helpful and easy to reach and so easy to deal with.
My old camcorder died just as I was almost done importing my collection of family videos. IMemories solved that problem, and it was a whole lot faster than playing the tapes in my camcorder. They completed my order very quickly, too.

Everything was so smooth and the layout of the videos online was exactly as I had hoped. I transferred everything to a flash drive and also to Google Drive. Thank you for making this project painless!

This was my second order with iMemories. I sent in over 800 slides from the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s. They were sitting in a box for year and almost impossible for family to view them. Now they are on my local computer, a thumb drive, on a google drive, and on the iMemories website -- all easily accessible for dozens of my family members to view and enjoy. Cost is high, even with deep discounts, but value to our family is off the charts!
I got what I needed off the tapes so the mission was accomplished.
I was hoping and praying for something as convenient as iMemories. Thank you for innovating home videos.
