Since I had no clue on what was actually on most of the movies, it was interesting and fun to watch them. The viewing of the movies was easy. The files seem extra huge, even when zipped, and it was not as easy to put them on a stick drive as I thought it should be. I had to have several sticks and they filled up fast. Right now they are also on my laptop but I want to remove them asap because of their size.
After my husband's sister passed away, we found several 8mm movies in her possession. We couldn't watch the films as the movie player was long gone. I found iMemories online, and sent the films as well as several family photos in to the company. They were grainy, just as you'd expect for 60+ year old film, but we were able to view them. It was fun for me to see my husband as a little boy, and for him to see his parents and sister again. I'm hoping to catch another sale so I can get my side of the family's VHS tapes and photos digitized.
