I've had a subscription for several years. They have converted many old VHS, 8mm, Super 8 movies as well as photos and negatives. They do a very good job with the conversions. My videos and photos are all available online and sharable with other people via email, text and social media posts. I can also upload many of my current videos directly from my computer to the iMemories site. I'm quite satisfied and have recommended iMemories to many other people.
On some infrequent occasions some large video files I've uploaded don't show up on iMemories, or it sometimes takes 2-3 days before I have access to them.
I also wish the software for the albums was a bit easier to use. It can be clumsy trying to find the album I want in various places on the website. I wish all of the pages of the website offered a "search" option so I can search for a video by name or content.
Other than that, I am very pleased.
I had 19 year old mini video cassettes and they came out beautifully. So thankful to bring back great memories, to hear peoples voices and see family that are now grown ups and so no longer present with us. imemories gave me so much more than just restored videos
I wanted to convert VHS so I could make DVD's to share with family as Christmas gifts. I did not know I would not be able to make DVD's from the conversion, and I would be required to order/pay for DVD's from iMemories. I did not know the conversion price did not include initial or return shipping of my VHS tape. I did not know after the "trial period" I would have to pay for "cloud" storage each month forever, or lose my footage.
I had spoken with several different representatives, and they were informative and polite.
I will be sending out my second set of videos this week. I'm looking forward to have all of these done digitally.
I really love them. The quality isn't great but that might not be the fault of imemory - might be the result of transferring from film that is up to 25 years old. I am so happy with them that I am sending more.

The conversion does come with free downloads, once the file is downloaded you can make your own DVDs (with the hardware and software necessary for burning DVDs). While we cannot offer to store digital files at no cost indefinitely, you can download and back up your media, or order a DVD/USB from us. The cloud subscription is optional for long term access and storage after the free 30 days that comes with each order.
