Sent in two VHS tapes - the first was digitized fine, with the second the quality was pretty poor. As if no human had reviewed it. They re-did that one and it was fine. The real issue was the incessant emails ever since I placed the order, with no way to unsubscribe. Customer service told me that they couldn't unsubscribe me because they were "account service" emails but they were just marketing/spam. Finally they agreed to remove me -- and yet I'm still getting them.
Great experience … I was stunned with the photos from the negatives I sent in… some were from other parts of my extended family and I'm not sure how I even got a hold of the negatives. It was a pleasant surprise to share with my aunt and her family photos no one had ever seen.
They charge for the kit, they charge for the processing, and they charge to be able to view it on my TV or phone. Way too expensive! Not user friendly. Rip off! Be wary to use.
I have had five rolls of sound movie film converted by iMemories. I chose them because other companies do not convert sound film. As for customer service they are extremely responsive. I had an issue with one roll of film and had no problems contacting them and communicating with them (by e-mail and directly by phone) until the issue was resolved to my satisfaction. I gave the product review only a 4 out of 5 because I feel that some of the colors in the digital product are a little "washed out" compared to the original film.
This is the 2nd set of tapes I sent in so it should be obvious that I was very satisfied with the results of the first batch of tapes I sent in our there would not have been a second set sent in. (And that is what your call a run on sentence.#
It was as advertised, overall experience was as user friendly and simple. Each one is saved as a separate file so be prepared to slowly store your memories for later use and do so within the timeline.
Easy to do and they do a great job! I had just about all the options such as old slides, 8mm movie, vhs, vhs-c. One vcr tape had torn and they fixed it! Very happy with entire process.

We paid almost $400.00 for 25 tapes, a vhs tape and some floppy discs. We dont feel that we received all that was recorded on each tape. Not only that but you only have 30 days to review before you have to pay monthly.
