I can still view/watch my VHS tapes, so I know what is on each. I sent in 22 tapes, and several of them were incomplete (for example one only had 7 minutes of the over 30 minutes of footage). I had to contact customer support multiple times to have them redo those videos, and they still didn't redo them all. It also took over a month from the final video until they reviewed and redid them. The quality wasn't that good on any video - and some of them are less than 15 years old (some as new as 2013). The quality is better watching it directly from the VHS than from the digital copy. Most of the videos were appropriately broken up, but some were very randomly ended with the rest of the footage attached to another video. I don't think there's much oversight or attentiveness to the footage; seems like its automated and they hope you don't know what's on the film to question it. I don't want to waste money on a membership, so I downloaded all my footage.
I have loved having all my families' old movies turned into the digital process so I can view them on my phone whenever I want. It brings happy tears to see and hear the voices of so many family members I have lost too soon!
Some of my media was unable to be digitized. Still not sure why, but was disappointed that it was not. Otherwise, I'm happy with the service I received.
I always wanted to convert my childhood memories into digital form but I couldn't bring myself to trust any company until I came across iMemories. Shipping was fast going, coming, and returning the films. I felt at peace that my videos were safe and the conversion was as best as it could be. Thank you!
I feel a lot better that those old pictures are now accessible my kids and grandkids. Especially grandkids to see "how we lived, way back then!". Outstanding service.

I had my dad's slides and movies converted and was pleased with the results. I wish you'd provide a thumb drive or chip that saved the memories. I didn't really want to pay a monthly fee in order to save them to your cloud. I was able to save them to my own personal cloud account, but needed help from a younger generation to do so. Still not seamless for older generations.
The one video that I wanted to convert, a souvenir of my family at Universal Studios, would not convert due to "copyright issues." The overall quality of the converted videos was blurry when compared to the original tapes.

By law, iMemories is not able to digitize copyrighted media such as Hollywood movies, television shows or anything professionally produced without a copyright release. Please keep in mind when viewing your videos these are standard definition videos being viewed on todays high definition screens. They are not going to look as clear and crisp as we have become accustomed to. We can absolutely look into any quality concerns you have. Hi Kristine, Thanks for your feedback. In reviewing your order there were three tapes that you had requested that we check for you. We can not start that review until your initial order is complete and we have all of your videotapes. Our research/repair team did review the tapes and there was ribbon damage to one. After numerous attempts to get it to play correctly in different equipment, it to be removed from the case and run manually in order to capture the rest of the video. Our team was able to get the best captures possible uploaded to your account. Please keep in mind these are standard definition videos being viewed with todays high definition screens, so they will not be as clear and crisp as when viewing them on the original standard definition equipment.
