So glad i finally did this. My tapes have been in a drawer for years. I went to watch one of our precious tapes from almost 30 years ago of my son's birth & the tape was disintegrating! Thank goodness I still had the original Super8's from the camera! I had iMemories digitize all 19 of those from my son's growing up years. The service, communication and product is great >and to be able to watch them now on my computer or TV is so wonderful! And easy to share with relatives & friends! Don't let your memories get away! Do this NOW!

I was disappointed that it wasn't put on USB and put in chronological order. That's the way I understood it was going to be. I'm computer challenged and if I didn't know someone that could do that I wouldn't have been able to get them downloaded. I will say the process was fast.

IMemories was the easiest way to see old videos captured 20+ years ago across a variety of disk formats. The process took just a few weeks to receive access to the digital files online and receive the original videos back in the mail. What may be best though is the ability to trim or split the digital video files right within iMemories. This allows for nice categorization of your permanent digital files before you download. Super happy!

We were concerned about not being able to view our old VHS tapes due to the technology being obsolete, but iMemories came to the rescue with digitizing our videos, so now we're able to relive our old memories through the screen!

Appreciated customer service help in arranging my newly converted media to organized digital albums. Called several times throughout the initial uploading process and every single cust svc rep was informative and patient with any and all questions. Sent a second batch of old videos a month later and am currently in the middle of organizing those. Will be ordering USB drives to give as holiday gifts this yr!

I wish I had sent my video tapes to IMemories years ago! They did a great job! I have recommended them to my friends and family.

They did as I asked. I have nothing to add. I am very satisfied.

We had family pads away and we were left with thousands of slides the service took so much pressure off of us to just be able to share with other family members without having to sort.

It was so safe and secure. I was nervous but there was t anything to be nervous about!

I recently sent a box of older videotapes to iMemories to convert into digital files and have been amazed to re-live these precious family moments from 30 and 40 years ago. I purchased the annual subscription so we can watch the movies from any device. It was a seamless experience and only took a couple of weeks. I highly recommend iMemories.

The videos were easily accessed. However, some of the video was of poor quality.

The process is simple,however I chose to have a Zip drive done when I filled out my paperwork, but did not receive when my photos were delivered back to me. I had to order that separately in an additional order.

I did get all my memories, but I would think that since I sent original tapes from my video recorder the static could have been cleaned up? A few of my recording were not viewable because of the amount of static but I still had to pay for them. I would think that I would be told that something was not good enough quality and I would not have to pay for it- or at least receive a discount. A few of the negatives were also not viewable but I still had to pay for them. The most outrageous was the price for the few minutes of a movie. They based the price on feet of film but I do not think it was based on the actual footage that was usable. I would not use this again and that is mostly because I thought I could speak with someone about what was being done before I was forced to pay for item that I might not have wanted to purchase once I knew the quality.

The process was simple, effective and I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the videos.

I thought the service was great and I have used iMemories in the past. I didn't like being forced to write a paragraph of text to describe my experience when the star rating work just as well.
