I was looking for an affordable way to digitize old photos and vhs tapes. The iMemories process allowed me to do just that. It was fast, convenient, and affordable.
The majority of conversion were wonderful. There were a couple videos that needed to be sent back for a finer rescan. The rescan was done for no extra charge and the results definitely improved. Great customer support.
Everything about this experience was top notch. Easy to ship items in iMemories sturdy box. I like that they inform you of each step in the process, start to finish time was fast.

Our photos, slides, and negatives were processed and returned very quickly over just a couple of days, which may be due in part to being located within two hours of the company. Once the digitization was complete, downloading more than 300 files was simple, and we were able to transfer everything to our storage system with no issues. We did not pay for expedited service or enhancement features. Also, only used the digital library and did not request a CD or thumb drive, so cannot speak to those options.
My only recommendation concerns the file-naming convention. Every image was labeled with "family" photo or "family" slide prefix. For clients using the service for professional purposes, and for collections where dates, subjects, or categories are unknown, a more neutral and systematic naming approach would be extremely helpful. As it stands, we didn't benefit from the default naming and all files were renamed to remove "family" due to the professional nature.
Overall, I highly recommend their services for the speed, quality, and ease of use. Just be prepared to receive a high volume of email not related directly to your order.
This is the second time I have used them! My experience both times was very good with all media returned as well as links if preferred or usb.inhave not tried any emhamcement yet but still would definitley use them again
All of my favorite home videos were carefully sorted through and put together so now we have them forever digitally I cannot express how happy I am with these services
Everything went well and the process was easy. The only downfall was that the sound on the videos from one VHS tape was not good. You can hear the video tape playback very loudly. I was informed there was nothing they could do about it. And the extra AI improvements were nominal.
The service was amazing from start to finish. So easy & very quick! My only thing is the app. The app closes out like 2 to 3 times when trying to open it. Other than that I have had no issues.
IMemories did a great job digitizing my DVD's. They came back quickly too. The only downside is that one DVD had a red mark and wasn't digitized, but didn't have an explanation as to why.
It's great to have these images out of boxes from that hallway closet. Even better to be able to send them to family and friends who remember those memories.

I ordered two movies to be enhanced. I was notified in only two days that the movies were ready. I notified family members to watch them and give me their opinion of the service before I ordered more. All of us couldn't see much difference, so it was disappointing - but like I said they were pretty bad to begin with, but we are grateful they are at least digitized so we can see them.

I got half of my order perfectly. The other hald (26 negatives) were not able to be viewed at all. They were given to a manager who fixed whatever problem there was and sent them to me perfectly. I am happy.
This was a very simple process. I had five VHS tapes of old family vacations. IMemories created a shipping label for me, I mailed the tapes to them, and within 10 days, I had a message that my first tape was ready to view/download! I didn't realize my digitizing would take place in stages; I thought I'd be notified when all were done. That allowed me to view them, download them, and save them along the way. The downloading process was simple and did not take long at all. (There is a disclaimer that it may take up to 12 hrs for a download, and mine did not). I also chose the "Enhance with AI" option, which was also part of the 50% off coupon code iMemories offered, and I'm glad I did. My tapes are 20 and 30 yrs old, so I wanted the images to be as good as they could be. I've now gotten all of my downloads saved to multiple USBs to give to family members. It did cost a lot for me to get my tapes back- $25. I wish shipping them back to me had been less costly, but overall, I am happy with the quality, the price, and the speed at which this process was completed. I needed to connect with customer service a couple of times and they were easy to contact and very helpful. Thank you!
Got back my box with negatives. One of may favorites, which was a single, larger negative, was quite orange and the picture was flipped. Most of the others were okay, but I had expected better quality from the 35 mm film that I had stored so carefully for 40 years. I tried a post scanning AI option to see if they would crisp up. Most doubled in storage size with non-detectable changes and many digital photos were not given the AI treatment. I am not sure why. Overall it is nice to have the digital photos. Because the negatives were generally clumped into a fairly large file for download, it has taken me many hours to separate the rolls of films. I had sent in each roll in a separate sleeve, so I was surprised when they came back in bunches rather than rolls.
