My experience was basically pleasant enough. I took the quiz & a shade was chosen for me. I'll admit that I'm a little concerned that the chosen shade will be too light-colored for my skin tone but I'm going to trust the process & hope they truly DO know what they're doing. I had a coupon code, from another site that was valid until 09/06/24, but the II Makiage website checkout would not accept it. I tried another and, again, not accepted. I was very disappointed, to say the least, as these coupon codes were for a MUCH better discount than their little 10% off for 1st time buyers. In the end, I had to accept their mere 10% off. Something is better than nothing, I suppose. But I'd think they would want to please a NEW customer especially in the hopes of return business. Maybe this will be my only purchase from this company. We'll see. It may depend on how well this foundation matches my skin tone. I can DEFINITELY get more affordable foundations at ANY drugstore/retailer. So, I'll hafta wait and see if their product is worth the hype/money!

I sincerely feel this is high quality make up. I don't like to wear a lot of make up and this is very light and wearable. I looks natural but evens out the different tones and blemishes in the skin. Great Stuff!

I absolutely LOVE the "Woke Up Like This" foundation, but trying through the buying process is just ridiculous! The constant upselling, the maze the site puts you through, trying to trick you into adding more products to your cart is extreme. Three separate boxes to add to cart, the first one tries to get you to subscribe, the second box wants you to add a product, the third box is a straightforward add to cart. And then the cart itself has multiple pop-ups of other products to add, and at the end, when you're not sure if you've made the purchase or not yet, there's a multiple question quiz that was so annoying, I finally closed the tab and checked to see if my order went through or not via email. If I didn't love their products as much as I do, I would NEVER buy from this company again ever. It's such a hassle!
I was at the beach with my sister and we were talking about self tanners and I was using another self tanner that came off on the towels that we used at the hotel. She told me about your self tanner and said that it doesn't come off so I thought I would try this to say that my question to you is is it cruelty free to animals?
