Alright, Lovelies! First off, I will say that this brand of makeup has amazing customer service, it's very customer-friendly and you feel like you're with your bestie. Sounds weird, ik, but it's true. They will send e-gift cards for reviews and if your package is later than expected. Etc.

BUT!

There's always a but lol. Their products are not the greatest. The foundation? Does not cover well and it made me feel greasy and disgusting. AND it's ridiculously overpriced. I got a wayyy better brand of foundation for more than half of the price. Matched perfectly right away, covers up my insecurities, and leaves my face feeling au naturel~ ("L'oreal True Match" for you beauties out there who are curious) The eyeliner? Quickly went from black to grey (aka ran out) very quickly.

To sum up this small rant, you can do so much better than a fancy brand that will give you good customer service yet, will produce products that are too expensive and frankly not worth it. (The lipstick is kinda bomb tho)

Made my order, recieved a email with order # confirmation. Un month later still waiting for shipped and tracking number notification. I have send several email and one after another I get tge same email as before with different representa name. I was giving the option to reorder o cancel my order, I have reorder several times and it willcome again saying the same as before. My last email my option was to cancel but I have not received no email with a cancelation.
I recieved again to contact the on ther faq on there webpage and nothing has been solve. Cant call no number either

I'm giving a poor rating for customer service. After buying several different products, I received my last foundation and had problems with the enough foundation coming out of the pump. I thought maybe shaking it a bit more would help but realized that my bottle was not full. I contacted customer service and was told I missed the 14 day return policy. My concern is about all the bottles that are returned may be repackaged. Customer service did nothing you save a customer relationship and said they were sure I'd be back. With that attitude, there is no way I will ever spend another penny on their products. After this experience, it made me think of all those bottles of foundation that are returned. Are they repackaging and reselling used foundation? Makes you wonder.

This make up is horrible it creases and plugged my pores. I had pimples on my checks and nose. Definitely not a quality products and fake reviews on their website!

Don't waste your time! If you have an issue with anything they won't listen, still charge your account. When you sent proof, they ask for more proof even when sending bank statements! Charging you over $300 and still have nothing to show for it. Never received foundation. They don't care … another money company could care less about the customer!

The smell of the foundation was toxic. I didn't use it on my face. Just my hand, and wrist. The color wasn't right, and even on my hand it felt sticky, and heavy. But really it was the smell that did it for me. It was so awful. Why would anyone want to put something that smelled like paint thinner on their face?!?! Toxic.

Did not like the shade or the product. Returned through website with prepaid label. Refund was less than purchase. After 12 emails back and forth was told shipping was non refundable which was not disclosed but could have been answered on first e-mail. Product is like ceiling paint.

I've owned both the original Luminess airbrush system and the Breeze system. Both can give you full coverage and all day wear. I recently tried LaMakiage liquid foundation (applied with a brush) to Luminess (airbrush) to compare.

LaMakiage color matching is spot on, I have never been able to find the right shade from a online questionnaire the first time if ever! Luminess shades are on the orange side and typically you have to mix shades to get a good match to your skintone, this can take some doing and a while to get it right.

LaMakiage coverage is light but covers blemishes and dark spots very well. It also doesn't have that cakey feeling at all. Great for aging skin.
Luminess has buildable coverage and does cover but still appears and feels a bit cakey. Possibly due to the orange tones. It doesn't do as well as advertised for aging skin.

LaMakiage sells for about $50 which is a good month to two supply. Luminess systems cost about $300 and the monthly make-up vials can range from $25-$55 each (keep in mind that the concealer, "Glow" and others are in addition to the foundation vials.)

It takes only seconds to apply LaMakiage where the Luminess (depending on how many layers you use) takes about 10 minutes to get one completed application. Plus you then have to clean the unit.

LaMakiage has all day wear, but as for the true evidence - when you take off your make-up at the end of the day Luminess is the winner in this area... and the make up remover cloth is evidence to that!
Being a Texas resident - I like to have the Luminess system at my disposal if I know I'll be out all day in humid weather and want to really have a more make up look.
But I have to say that LaMakiage is my favorite. The way it feels, price and color matching is definitely a winner!
Both give you a trial period. Luminess give you a 30 day trial for $19.95 and once you have the unit the customer service is pretty good. If you request a return the customer service is less than great but is still ok. You pay to return the product.
LaMakiage gives you 30 days to try their full bottle of foundation and pays for return if you do not like it. Great customer service all the way around.

This foundation applies horribly, it's patchy & transfers easily. Waterproof causes breakouts & all the colors they've sent me are too orange/yellowish. Customer service is the worst & they make it impossible to cancel. They've committed fraud to get an old credit card so they could send me this junk & won't return any emails. Don't waste your money!

I am ordering for a second time. I am beyond happy and I don't how answering a few questions came up with the perfect color match. I mean perfect! Whether I am pale or tan, it always makes me look natural yet finished! I'm happy beyond happy!

I bought some foundation and they kept trying to sell me other products, after five minutes of refusals they then told me they were giving me a free gift with my order and a month later charged me for what they said was a free gift.

Tried some make up nearly six months ago and I have just notice £28 has gone out of my account today? They are crooks. Their Make up is like wearing tar! Vile! Dont use it. Avoid! Scammers! Crooks

I cancelled my auto-subscription because it said my card was declined and I didn't need anymore foundation so I emailed the representatives at IL Makiage for a refund. They told me my order didn't exist and kept blowing me off. Awful customer service and I needed that money for bills this week. They did not give my money back and claimed my account was not charged but I sent them screenshots, clearly showing money was taken out of my account. Never ordering from them again!

I am really glad they have this return/exchange policy because it's hard for me to find makeup products I like/work with my ezcema skin.

QUICK PRODUCT REVIEW: (Disclaimer: I didn't end up keeping the foundation but I did the primer!)
- primer: I surprisingly found myself keeping the primer because it was so expensive but I felt like it was worth the price because of discounts and I had received a gift card from them~
- foundation: blends nicely but smells a little off
- concealer: I actually really liked but because I found myself still leaning towards the one I had I returned this one
- brush: was actually gifted, not bad but wouldn't buy it myself
- eyeliner: also gifted! In my current makeup bag

Only reason I took a star off is because I think the smell is a bit funky but it's bearable. I got used to it after wearing it for a bit so if that's your reason from not trying I'd say go ahead and try since their return policy is the best!

Last thing: I noticed they want to make sure their customers are always satisfied so they may randomly send you a gift certificate to purchase something on their website to try (could be $10, $20 or even $50 :)

Spent $100 and received a eyebrow pencil and under eye concealer that is totally the wrong color! They say how easy it is to exchange their products but that IS NOT TRUE! I used a egift card and THEY DO NOT EXCHANGE any products if you paid by egift! Now I'm stuck with $100 worth of makeup that I can't use! I've NEVER heard of such a policy and have NEVER been so disappointed with a company before! They are not a member of the BBB either!

I brought the foundation which is terrible. It felt awful on my skin and was a terrible coverage. Months later they have taken $54 out of my PayPal account when I did not sign up to automatic orders. They send multiple annoying emails asking for reviews too

I'm really impressed by this brand. I used the quiz to find my shade and had it sent with a concealer. I found that the shade was very slightly off. Not so much that I can't wear the foundation, it's just ever so slightly a bit to yellow for my complexion. So I emailed and asked about exchanging it for something with a tiny bit more pink. They said that not only could I keep the original one, but they sent me a brand new foundation (they asked me a couple more questions to find the right match), as well as a $25 AUD gift voucher which I used on a powder contour. The new foundation is perfect and I love the contour as well. I'm really impressed by their customer service and I'd definitely buy from them again.

I read tonnes of reviews before buying this and was excited to try it. However I just don't get the hype at all! It's basic. It's not full coverage. It's expensive for what it is. I had to apply my regular foundation over it to get good coverage. Estee lauder double wear is 100 times better for the same money.

They claim they are giving you a free offer, TO TRY BEFORE YOU BUY... Well for starters. They take your shipping charges and place the hold for the "amount" on your card and they fail to deliver the product to you. VIA FEDED mind you. This company is a scam and a joke. It was in my hometown for 2 days before it shipped out to California and back to Arizona 20 days later from the day I ordered it. Save yourself the time and money and buy local.
