Was told to just pay shipping to try out some products, only to realize at the end that I'd be charged full price! I would NEVER pay $200 for makeup when I wear it probably once a month. There's no way to cancel your order. And everything is extremely overpriced.

I saw the ad on Instagram, did the quiz, purchased the foundation and was very surprised at the speed in which I received the goods and even more surprised at how well the product matched my skin tone. I'm very happy with the product. Thank you!

I bought it. Was supposed to be a "free" trail. Had to deny 3 time subscription service… got charged full price before delivery. Took a long time to come in… sent a letter to CS and BBB it came in 2 days later. Was water thin… didn't cover a thing… my 5.00 dollar store foundation is way better… want my money back have started a return. Doubt I'll see it…

I recently ordered free trial of foundation, concealer, and a brush for application. I received my package promptly, even though I live in Canada. Unfortunately the shade was too dark. When I contacted company, they returned my email quickly. They were kind and considerate, and asked me to give them another chance. So they are now sending the correct color. I appreciate their good business practice. Also their polite professional manor. The foundation is everything they say it is. Just hoping for right shade. Recommend this business

Ordered my first color - from the "quiz" to match- and I looked like i had clay on my face. Emailed and asked for help - they then send me a canned response on - oh what did you like about our product - NOTHING - i requested customer service to assist me in a better match. They then randomly send another match- yet and more of the canned responses. I email and request a color specialist to assist- again another canned response. They DO NOT care about their customers - and it is a big Bot reply program. Save your money.

The make-up did exactly the opposite of what was claimed by the seller, AND watch out for the codes they give you, it will prevent you from getting a full refund if you return the product. Also they don't reimburse shipping. My experience was terrible.

Purchased the foundation and found after paying that they'd charged me for an add on I hadn't even seen! No update to the basket with this in it (eye shadow palette costing £38) just money taken off my card. The first I knew was a separate email confirming a purchase I had no idea I'd made! Contacted company to be told they weren't able to cancel but to return for refund once received. Easier said than done …able to return the foundation but the order number for the add on mysteriously didn't work when I tried to enter it for a return! More emails and still waiting for a response- can't return it without a return order - really annoyed such unethical underhand aggressive selling

I ordered the foundation and concealer on a trial period, and I was only supposed pay the shipping. They not only charged me for the shipping on the trial period but they also charged me for the full amount as well. Another $82. Immediately, when I tried telling them, they argued the point. Even after I spoke to my bank, and the bank confirmed that it was in fact a charge. When I tried telling the customer service team yet again they continued to tell me that I along with my bank were not correct. I will end up having to file fraudulent charges through my bank, oh I forgot to mention that I still haven't even recieved the product. So beware.

I foolishly signed up for their 'free' offer to try the concealer and they 'threw' in foundation. The total cost was $5 for the shipping, which was fine for a trial of ONE CONCEALER PRODUCT. They sent me full size of what I ordered + FOUNDATION that I did NOT order and specified nothing else. A few weeks later I got an $82 bill on my credit card - no email communication, nothing. For the 'free' sample, I got an email everyday on the status of my order, but during the trial, conveniently no communication. And I'm being charged for something I DID NOT ORDER. GIANT SCAM.

Now the product... after using it once and you have to put on layers upon layers to get any sort of coverage, I broke out for weeks. It feels horrible on the skin - skin couldn't breathe at all.

Horrible service. Horrible products. Run far far away.

This is precisely why I buy everything at Sephora.

Watch out for their auto renew program, which they "auto check" for you on your very first trial order! SCAMMY! 2 months later they pulled money from my bank account without any warning. When asked, they claim in their copy/pasted email that I chose the auto renew option when I ordered my first sample. Why on earth would someone willingly sign up for auto renew for a product they haven't even tried yet!?!? The coverup was cakey and not at all worth the money. This company is just a hassle which should be avoided with a 10 foot pole! Sketchy!

About everyone has problems finding the right color for foundation. This product does deliver on the match.
If you look at the drugstore and take time looking you can do the same thing. The commercial makes it look rich and thick to reveal perfect looking skin. If you have perfect looking skin then this product works for you make sure you use a primer or it won't work even on perfect skin. Most of us don't and it's all about getting that natural healthy looking glow with no muss no fuss like we just stepped out of bed looking like we are fifteen. This product is runny and does not cover spots or imperfections without applying several times, it goes away by the end of the day and I can get that from Walgreens. Too expensive for what it is, great marketing got to give them five stars for that.

I tried ONE foundation, told them I didn't like it, and now I get an email EVERY OTHER DAY! IVE UNSUBSCRIBED, TOLD THEM REPEATEDLY TO LEAVE ME ALONE, AND THEY JUST KEEP SENDING MAKL! THE FOUNDATION WASN'T EVEN GOOD! I BROKE OUT SEVERELY FROM IT! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEU OR SANITY ON THEM!

This is a scam!
1. You have to pay for shipping
2. They don't tell you a return is necessary or they charge you anyway
3. You have to pay to return it.
4. The most important part, it's overpriced and doesn't even work! Way too thin, transparent, poor coverage!

Ordered once, product nice but I did not want to 'autoreplenish' as they call it. However when I tried to remove my bank card from the 'saved payments' section I found I could not do so even though there was a 'remove' button. It only allows you to remove if you add another card! Completely unacceptable and now trying to cancel my account with Il Makiage but even that is proving difficult.
Can only contact by email so at their mercy to respond or not.
Never again just not worth the hassle!

I authorized $5.20 for my wife on some Foundation but this company turned around on top of the $5.20 get my card for $97.67 which is an unauthorized drawn my account I'm contacting the local DA to pursue fraud charges on this company and I see by all the other comments it's a pretty general practice for them to rip people off and take money out of their accounts when they want to you hit the wrong account on this one. The phone number they have for their attorney is an immigration lawyer the number that they have for makeup Company doesn't even work so yeah there are scam and a ripoff I wouldn't buy nothing from them ever again

First of all, it took over a month for me to receive the product in the first place. I gave the product to try and it was as thick as wallpaper paste! I couldn't imagine wearing this on my skin day after day. It took three attempts to remove all the product with soap and water. Don't waste your money!

The only thing good about this brand is their marketing/packaging. The foundation and concealer are lower quality than Covergirl. Fills & highlights pores even with primer. Not mat finish but dead and dull. Easily rubs off/stains clothes. Smells toxic, feels gross on skin, makes eyes burn & skin itch. Cakes into fine lines. Concealer is so cheap & oily but dries like paint chips. I should have read the reviews. I should have known better with all the hype & "try before you buy" scheme.

While this product may be a quality product, BUYER BEWARE of their deceptive purchasing practices. I ordered the foundation on a trial basis. The website stated that I would only pay for shipping, so I used my debit card for the $5 purchase. They do have a disclaimer that they will receive an authorization for the cost of the merchandise, which is $48.15, still not an issue, but these crooks placed a $101.65 authorization on my debit card for what they advertised would cost $5! I questioned why they needed to hold on to almost 3x the purchase price to which they stated to alleviate fraud. THEY ARE COMMITTING THE FRAUD. So, BUYER BEWARE. They refuse to release the hold but offer a $50 gift card. I don't want a gift card; I want the money back they stole from me.
