Its very easy to navigate thru the site. They have a variety of products to choose from. Not going to lie, the complexion test had me nervous. Since I've been buying off of IL Makiage I will never go back to the other brands I've used. I've been a customer since 2020. I get amazing compliments on my makeup. I no longer have to mix my foundation to get the right tone. You girls always make sure to remind me to stock up. I get an email to see how I'm going and I get emails on new products. I came across the ad on Facebook and thought, self you need this. But as soon as I ordered my mind had changed, how are they going to be able to match my skin tone. So I immediately contacted customer service who replied right back an ensured me that I would not be charged during the trial period. Within a few days I received my order and let me tell you that it was a perfect match. Thank you for giving this 55+ a new attitude. Oh I tried right after I opened the package.

I went onto the site to purchase foundation. Have the shade I need, go to checkout and can't checkout without signing up for auto replenishment! What? If I wanted to do that it should be MY CHOICE, not the program! I love the foundation... get high compliments... but I can't check out unless I sign up for the auto program? Wrong! Fix that... now having said that: Il Makiage has superior foundation - goes on wonderfully and easily... no streaking, excellent coverage, never changes color or streaks, feels light and smooth and lasts ALL DAY LONG...

... DON'T BE NERVOUS! I was excited to get help finding the right shade for me. I took the quiz and researched the company. I was still nervous about an online order. I signed up for the try before you buy. When I got my product I thought it was too light. It didn't smooth my skin as I wanted. I ended up returning it. This company reached out to me and helped me understand what went wrong. I took the quiz a few more times and compared the results and decided on the right color ( a different one than before) I loved the long lasting wear the first one provided and they suggested I try a primer to help smooth my skin and also to use a brush to apply( which I got for free!) I love the look a primer gives the texture of my skin and I am so excited to try my new color. They went over and above to help me and make sure I ended up with something I would love! I appreciate the amazing customer service and that they cared how I felt about their company and products. They had so many options and I believe everyone will find something they love. I recommended this to my mother( an 80 year old cosmetologist) to help her find something to cover redness and add some luminous color to her skin... she loves it! Thank you! I will continue to recommend this company and continue to try new products offered! Next on my list... eyeshadow!

Hi Casey! Let me explain what happened -- a pre-authorization was placed on your card (as stated at check-out). Not to worry, this isn't a charge! Pre-authorization is a fraud prevention method used by financial institutions to guarantee the safety of certain transactions. A pre-authorization, or a temporary hold, simply authorizes the card, the funds are still in your account and will not be transferred to us unless you choose to keep the product. We can't refund the preauthorization as the funds were never actually withdrawn from your account, but I can tell you that preauthorization will fall off / disappear (this normally happens within 4 days from the order). You will not be charged for the full price unless you keep the product(s).
I am so pleased with how above and beyond they went for me. The color I ordered was slightly to dark, and outside of the return window. But that did not stop them from sending me another shade and a bonus e-card. Absolutely amazing customer service.

I have ordered about 10 times from Il Makiage. I have a couple of items on a subscription too. So far I have only had positive experiences and loved my products. I did get something that was not a good color match for me and I was able to trade it out very easily for the right color. Highly recommend.

I felt pressured to purchase more than just the tester size at the last page. Couldn't get out of skip the last page which was showing an addition item for $40.00.
