I tried this foundation for the first time last year…and what can I say. I've never had a foundation that had everything I wanted and needed. From the coverage all to the perfect match. I no longer have to mix two foundations together. I will never go back to my old foundation again. I swear by Ilmakiage.
The 1st color I have is a little off for my Iowa winter color. It doesn't look bad on me. So l'm sure it will be perfect for my summer color. You guys have been great to work with. Can't wait to get the next shade from you. Thanks

So this is honestly my second time trying IL Makiage, I can tell you that they really do give you time to try the product, they really do give you your money back if you decide not to keep it and they really don't hassle you to come back with a bazillion emails etc. I wasn't in a position to keep the makeup last time and didn't really give it a fair trial so I'm super excited for my orders, yes multiple orders! I'm awaiting the foundation, concealer and primer(1st order) and the power lift plumping cream(2nd order)... I'm so excited, I can't wait for my Christmas!
Makiage has been an unexpectedly great experience. I was doubtful about the foundation color that would arrive from taking the short questionnaire but it matched my skin and feels good on my skin. The products I have ordered since have been good value. Customer service is readily available to help and overall I give the company 5 stars!.
I finally decided to try this brand. Once I placed my order it looks like an additional product was subsequently added. I tried to cancel the product immediately, but it did not go through. It was a bad first experience utilizing the site. I am not sure why you are prompted so many times after you place your order to add other products. I just wanted to make sure my foundation was ordered and now I have to be inconvenienced in returning the item I did not want.
After making a purchase of $240 I was offered a one time discount via text for 20% off selected products. I opened it, selected the mascara (since I forgot to purchase it the fist time). Clicked on claim 20% discount offer and it redirected me to another page saying I was too late to claim! There was still at least 5 min on the countdown clock at top. Really wanted to try the mascara and would probably just go back and purchases full price if it wasn't for the snooty "your manicured fingers were too slow" comment. Why offer a discount, give a countdown and then deny it while still in the timeframe? Hopefully I enjoy the makeup I just purchased and can do a new review. I swear, I'm not a "Karen" just rubbed me the wrong way!

As an older woman, finding make up that works with aging skin has been a challenge. After seeing ads for Il Makiage and researching the brand, I decided to try it out. While my color match was not exact, the make up went on so smooth and definately is as advertised. I retook the color match test and ordered a shade slightly darker. Can't wait to receive the new shade as this is the best foundation I have ever tried.
Love Il Makaige foundation! It amazed me how well they website matches you. I found a need where I needed the foundation before next weekend. I only had one shipping option, which I hope will get here before I leave town.

Although your "survey" is a nice idea, I found it a bit long. If you would give us the color options on one page so I could view all at once I would appreciate the selection better. After completing the order, I don't want the "what about this additional options".

I don't wear makeup everyday so it took me a while to decide that my shade just wasn't exactly right. This caused me to miss my return window. I reached out to customer service for help and they were great! They helped me narrow down what I didn't like about the shade. I loved everything else about the foundation just needed the right shade! They were quick to send me a new shade at no cost! They were so focused on making sure I had the right shade and a good experience! Good customer service is hard to find nowadays and ILMAKIAGE does not skimp on that at ALL! I will definitely recommend them to anyone seeking a new foundation and concealer! I haven't tried any other products yet but will be ASAP!

I received my order for Power Rewind and had been using it a couple weeks. The pump broke/stopped working. I emailed customer service. No questions asked, they are sending a new (full size) product at no cost to me. I also do not have to return the damaged product and they gave me a 20% off code to use in the near future. You don't get customer service like this anymore so it is quite refreshing! Thank you, Il Makiage.
I opted for the $5 try before you buy and my card was charged $53 dollars. This is not ok.
