My first order I placed was the wrong shade and I contacted customer service and with the hour received a reply. They were wonderful and quickly replaced my foundation with a lighter color and it matched perfect they also gave me a gift card and covered the cost of the shipping! How awesome! After many trial and errors of other foundations I have finally found one I will be continuing to use, highly recommend!

I am already floored by the amazing results of the products, however I dropped my bronzer and it broke! I emailed them and the message I received in return gave me chills. The extreme level of customer service overwhelmed me to the point that I had to read the message to my husband. The way they handled something so small literally made me a lifetime customer. I have NEVER had a company speak to me like it was their fault that I broke my makeup. AND they actually gave my two great options when it came to replacing my product…both absolutely free.
I have never felt loved and important to any large company, considering I shop a lot online, and this company went above and beyond my expectations. I ordered the buy now try later self tanning foam and the foundation they picked for me and then added on mascara. I got the foundation one day, the mascara 2 days later and still have my received the sun foam. I'm not too impressed with the foundation either.idk if the matching was just wrong but it has an oranges tint I feel and is very cakey when you apply. I like a natural look and this definitely didn't look natural. Lol. Haven't tried the mascara yet but was so excited about the sun foam which is what I ordered first and it's frustrating that I haven't gotten it or even know if it's really coming.
There were so many steps to cancel my auto ship. I am only canceling it because I do not use as often as I receive product. I did set up auto ship on other items and that went smoothly. I think if you reduced the number of times the customer must confirm cancellation it would make for a more pleasant process.
The foundation is outstanding. The coverage is excellent. I'm 71 years old, and have been using bareMinerals for 15 years. All of that make up is now in the trash. I am older, so I need more neutral colors. Next stop, is a neutral lip color that is a little bit more permanent. Best 150 bucks I've spent in a long time.

I've been using Il Makiage foundation for a little while and while I thought the shade was right, when I saw myself in some photos I noticed it was a tad dark. I contacted the customer services team to ask what the next shade lighter was and they recommended an alternative which they provided free of charge. They replied to my email quickly which was great. I have liked all their products including the mascara which doesn't clog at all.
I am a self professed makeup junkie. My usage includes MAC, Dior, Pat McGrath, and just about any other high end brand. I am a medical professional that has to be on camera for telehealth and meetings. Hands down, this foundation is different. It is beautiful in person and on camera. I have sensitive oily skin and have experienced no breakouts with this product. Everyone has to find what works for them but their products work for me.
I was a little skeptical but the coverage is great, matches and is not tacky and lasts all day! My skin hates make up but NO breakouts and really is great.

I received my order today and very impressed with the updates on my order from customer service. So happy with the free brush and liquid liner and the foundation is fabulous but unfortunately a little orange for my skin but this is probably down to my answers to the quiz. I'd like to take it again to find my perfect match and that would be me set in the make up stakes for good.

My experience has been extremely frustrating! They claim to have 24/7 customer service but guess what, that doesn't exist! I have sent over 10 emails to the so called "customer service" and absolutely NOTHING has happened. The system sent me foundation which was way too dark and orange, I tried to do an exchange, that would not work so I had to do a return and the system chose yet another shade which I still think is too dark (we'll see since they shipped it) - I immediately reached out to "customer service" requesting a lighter shade but again, to no avail. As I mentioned, it's been extremely FRUSTRATING! You better know exactly what you want before you purchase anything here. The only positive note I have is that I love the mascara I purchased. I can't tell yet if the serums work - we'll see. Hoping for the best.
Answer: Yes! I believe they are anyway…but the problem with asking different peoples opinions and that is you will get MANY different opinions! The reason I say go for it and try them out is because regardless of if the products suit YOUR skin and style their customer service is amazing so you aren't really taking a risk as if for whatever reason you don't like what you buy they will fully refund or exchange with no problem at all. They are really quick with responding to enquiries too so if there's anything you want to ask them before buying I suggest sending them an email and you will soon see what I mean…they really go beyond to try and make their customers happy!

Answer: I wasn't successful. I sent them pics of the reaction I am having in the exact areas I am using the product and all they had to say was,"your 30 day return period has expired". For a company that charges $45 for 1.7 oz of cream, that is very poor customer service.
