The company enjoys a generally positive reputation, with many customers praising the quality and effectiveness of its products, particularly in terms of skin care and makeup performance. Quick delivery and effective customer service interactions were frequently highlighted as strengths. However, concerns emerged regarding the ordering process, particularly issues with auto-renewals and unclear promotional offers that led to unintended charges. Additionally, some customers expressed frustration over the difficulty in managing subscriptions and the perceived lack of transparency in the purchasing process. Overall, while product satisfaction is high, improvements in customer communication and order management could enhance the overall experience.

I didn't get my order and i want my refund at any cost I don't want anymore products
It was the wrong shade. I needed a darker shade, #60 but the coverage is good.
I ordered foundation with a 14 day trial. I am older and do not wear foundation everyday. The last few times I have worn it the color looked orange. I sent an email and within 8-10 hrs I received an email from Jordan and he resolved the problem. Immediately took care of the issue and is mailing out another shade.
I would recommend this company to anyone.
Thank you so much for your help
I ordered my first makeup on February 25,2023.
I have yet to see it. I feel it may be lost and UPS is of no help at all!
The site I found very difficult to maneuver. All I wanted was to reorder my previous order & to determine what payment method I used.
Just wanted one product and when email came in with order there were 2 products ordered
I was hoping to love the IL Makiage foundation, unfortunately it did not work on my 61 y/o face. It was a little too heavy, settled on top of my skin in a pretty unflattering way, and creased and caked as the day wore on. Also, a little too matte for me. Maybe great for 20 or 30 y/o but I wouldn't recommend it for older skin.
The brush is nice though.
I had a small issue with the shade of foundation I ordered and they were just amazing at fixing the situation. Very happy with this company.
Tried their setting spray, and rash appeared all over my face. I contacted support, and they were le"oh well" ship it back… I literally couldn't go to work that day! That's how much they cared! Should probably test their product at the lab and see what kind of …. Was added to it.
I have a good experience placing the order it was easy and fast.
This is my second attempt at placing an order thru this company. My first never arrived, the refund process was horrible, and all along continuous SMS messages soliciting other products drove me crazy. I really don't like that they remove funds before shipping order. They claim delivery 3-10 business days. My first experience tracked the package to 28 miles from my home before it rerouted back to their shipping origin. (I'm in a suburb of Chicago not some ND backwoods) all WITHOUT explanation. I've asked no funds removed till tracking info supplied AND I'm watching their tracking.
All communications are by email (24-48 hr response) and a canned response at that. There's no phone # for customer assistance. (?)
So as I said...we'll see.
I would give a five but this is still all new to me and the beginning of my journey with Makiage. Because my first shade was off I received another shade promptly. Now I'm trying to add some "shine" and not look quite so matted. Makiage has reached out with helpful suggestions and I'm waiting for my next shipment.
I recently placed an order with Il Makiage, and although I'm hopeful that I'll be pleased with the products I was disappointed with my shopping experience. The company offers a discount for providing your email address, but then doesn't allow you to enter the coupon code when you're receiving the free application brush for subscribing. It's a classic bait and switch tactic, where they offer you additional savings with a catch. If I'm subscribing to receive future orders of my foundation, then I qualify for the free application brush. If I'm signing up for emails, then I also qualify for a 10% discount on my current purchase…period. One should not void the other. I don't consider a company who plays that game to be reputable; so I'm definitely leery about doing business with Il Makiage and will be likely cancelling my subscription due to this business tactic. If you choose to shop with them, just be aware of the "fine print" that doesn't actually appear to be "printed" anywhere on their website.
Claims to be full coverage...not at all. I have broken capillaries and it doesn't cover.
I went through all the steps for the try before you buy. And come to find out no it was $91 that I was not expecting to spend. Definitely a bait and switch. Try before you buy means you try it before you buy it not spend $100.
So far I like the foundation. I just ordered the primer ans I love the E gift cards!
At 61, I am so happy to find the perfect foundation for my skin completion. I love the way it feels on my skin.
From the quiz to check out was such an easy process. I can't wait to try the product
Take their survey and get a discount code for their makeup products
Answer: Yes! I believe they are anyway…but the problem with asking different peoples opinions and that is you will get MANY different opinions! The reason I say go for it and try them out is because regardless of if the products suit YOUR skin and style their customer service is amazing so you aren't really taking a risk as if for whatever reason you don't like what you buy they will fully refund or exchange with no problem at all. They are really quick with responding to enquiries too so if there's anything you want to ask them before buying I suggest sending them an email and you will soon see what I mean…they really go beyond to try and make their customers happy!
Answer: This website is scam. They don't cancle order. Reday to scam once you order. BEware
Answer: Yes They are Scammers. Good luck getting your money back! 1
Answer: The company is a scammer. How would you trust their product is animal tested! Even you can't trust the product, as you don't know what's in it...
Answer: I wasn't successful. I sent them pics of the reaction I am having in the exact areas I am using the product and all they had to say was,"your 30 day return period has expired". For a company that charges $45 for 1.7 oz of cream, that is very poor customer service.
