I received notification that my Try Before You Buy had been delivered, yet I did not receive it. I contacted IL Makiage and within MINUTES, my problem was rectified, a new TBYB order had been placed, I received a gift certificate, and placed an order for some other goodies! I have never had such a quick and awesome customer service experience EVER! I will recommend this company to everyone I know, even though I have not received any product yet...although I'm sure it's AWESOME! Will definitely let ya'll know! I want to thank you very much. I normally would not complain, however I was losing a significant amount of product and felt I was also throwing away money. So thank you again.
Came on time, approx. 5-6 days after I ordered. I got WOKE UP LIKE THIS Shade #140 with the brush and an eyeliner as a gift.
The pros: I like the finish, it's not cakey and quite light. The shade matches maybe like 90% of my skin tone. So, not too bad.
Cons: It doesn't cover my dark spot, and I don't even have a lot of dark spots. What is advertised as the foundation covering the skin flawlessly is not the case with me. You need to use more than 2 pumps to cover the spots, which eventually turn out to be too heavy on the skin.
I can achieve this result with my other foundations.
I have to cancel the subscription as I think, the coverage is not as good as advertised.
This feels and looks like I'm wearing my own skin. Provides smooth full coverage, stays on all day and washes off nicely.
I bought the product in January and received it and trued. It was just OK and I wanted to initially send it back since they claimed they would not charge me for the trial period. I decided to try it again and the cover was a little better, so I decided to keep it. That was in January. Then today 5/1/2023, I was paying bills and checked my checking account and was charged $66! I DID NOT SIGN UP FOR THEIR AUTO-REPLISHMENT! I had to call my bank, they recommended that I terminate my card, they would need to reissue me another one, then I have to file a reverse charge complaint to get my money back. This is crazy. I wish I had read reviews here instead of on Facebook. Since it's a credit card/debit card it had to be shut down immediately. I then went to the make-up's website to make sure that even if I did accidently sign up for auto-replenishment I wanted it cancelled. I'm done with them.
Will give a review after I receive my product there is no reason to review a product that I have not received

Some fraud happened on my account and when i asked to refund my money they said product is shipped and cannot refund. Like in 5 mins they shipped the order what a lier

As the title states, I had some difficulty with my color match; what I got was a bit off but the agent immediately worked to ensure I was satisfied. The advertised policy of love it or return it is TRUE! They spoke to me about what was off and how and then found me another shade to try; shipped it with no questions asked and no money on my part.

Ordering was fine. Website was fine. The quiz helps you. But I was not a fan of pushing the autoship when I haven't even tried the products yet. My experience with these online companies i don't know, is that when you don't like it, it's hard to complain or cancel. Then pushing me to add extra items to my cart or even after I ordered.
And asking for a survey now, how did we do? My only experience was with ordering. I haven't received or used my products yet. Maybe slow your roll and let us actually try them before you offer an autoship or ask for feedback? Just my two cents.
Answer: Yes! I believe they are anyway…but the problem with asking different peoples opinions and that is you will get MANY different opinions! The reason I say go for it and try them out is because regardless of if the products suit YOUR skin and style their customer service is amazing so you aren't really taking a risk as if for whatever reason you don't like what you buy they will fully refund or exchange with no problem at all. They are really quick with responding to enquiries too so if there's anything you want to ask them before buying I suggest sending them an email and you will soon see what I mean…they really go beyond to try and make their customers happy!

Answer: I wasn't successful. I sent them pics of the reaction I am having in the exact areas I am using the product and all they had to say was,"your 30 day return period has expired". For a company that charges $45 for 1.7 oz of cream, that is very poor customer service.
