On a whim I searched for a similar foundation but another I tried was too cakey and didn't finish as smooth as this product. Grateful to have it!
I have been looking into this product for a while and I finally decided to give the foundation a try. I would rather have paid for it complete upfront but not given this option. Once I order, then the site keeps trying to get you to buy add-ons which was no. I clicked no several times and the button moved and I accidentally added a product that I have no clue about. The horrible part is I don't have an option to correct this. I had to contact my bank and now go through so much which is something that I absolutely hate to do. I will never order from this site again. $50 for foundation and all the hassle isn't worth it at all. So ready to receive so I can return and never deal with this site again.
After a lot of deliberation, I finally decided to go for it and give this product line a try. I opted into marketing in order to get a promo, which was reflected in email and visible when I followed the link to their site. It didn't show up on my order summary so I immediately reached out to customer service. They couldn't help fix it and offered no suggestions on making it right. It was a big order and I am genuinely rethinking my purchase altogether. The products might be nice but I'd like to feel customer service cares a little -and are there if something comes up after an initial order.
I'm amazed at the wonderful support, and available that this company has given me. There goal is to provide thet customer service and provide high quality products that the stand by. They go above and beyond to make sure the customer is happy with thee purchase. Also, they keep ongoing communication to make sure things are going well with the purchase and always ask if there's anything they can offer assistance.
As I said, amazing. I'm so pleased and happy to be one of their valued customers.
I really like this brand- which says a lot because I have very sensitive skin. I hope the primer is just as good as the foundation!

I ordered the liquid foundation with the primer and didn't like the color or application if it. I expressed my feelings to customer service and they offered several options to make it easy for me to re try ut, exchange or return for refund. I was very satisfied with their concern and care and wound ip buying another tube of After Party, my forever foundation! Permanent customer here!
Great experience so far. This is my 2nd order. The foundation bottle lasts me awhile, so I am not on auto replenishment. Lightweight, very natural.
I did not believe the hype about II MAKIAGE foundation until I tried it. I'm never going back to any other brand. Full coverage for dark spots or blemishes, appears naturally on skin. Highly recommend.

I was in the process of buying the lip gloss through PayPal, I was expecting to be brought back to II Makiage to enter Welcome 10, instead it processed the payment and I was unable to get the discount.

I have used and loved products from this company for 2 years now, including foundation, concealer, eye liner, lash mascara, eyebrow pen and mascara, lip color eyeliner and brushes. I have been happy with the products.
Until this week.
I had received foundation on autoship (I don't recall signing up for that, but OK) and it was more than 30 days before I opened the box. The color did not match my previous foundation which was the exact same product.
I contacted the company to request a replacement and they denied my request because it was outside their return window. I am a business owner myself and we have policies fora reason and I respect that. Except in this case it was a faulty product. I stated this and sent them photos (the same ones I am attaching here) and they still refused.
One of two things has happened. Either their quality assurance had a glitch and the new batch was off, or they have poor quality product that changes color over time. Neither is acceptable.
Rather than replacing the product which would cost them probably about $15 (if we assume a 50-60% margin, though the margin is likely higher as consumer products usually have a target of 70% margin), they would rather loose my business. I have spent over $1000 to date with them but they want to double down on now losing $15.
I don't care about the money. I do the lack of integrity and lack of standing by their products.

I like the smooth top of the eyeliner tip it makes it easy to do winged eyeliner!
I have now placed at least 4 orders and each time the customer service has just been above and beyond my expectations. In this day and age where almost everything is automated I appreciate the fact that any questions I have ever had have been replied to quickly and answered in detail. Thank you
I love the primer and foundation but when ever I get in the website I can never get a straight answer of where or what I've ordered. I've sent emails wondering where my package is and they send me back a tracking # somewhere on Ohio. All I want to know is where my package is
So far I needed to do an exchange and the company is very good about their exchange process. But I'm waiting for 3 orders and I have been waiting for a while and I am still waiting but I'm not blaming IL Makiage for them being so late because I don't know who to blame but they have some good qualitys and some not so good qualitys
For the first time I have a great foundation match. Thanks to the questionnaire. Just purchased moisturizer and have been using it a couple of weeks. Love the feel and freshness of my skin. Outstanding customer service!
Answer: Yes! I believe they are anyway…but the problem with asking different peoples opinions and that is you will get MANY different opinions! The reason I say go for it and try them out is because regardless of if the products suit YOUR skin and style their customer service is amazing so you aren't really taking a risk as if for whatever reason you don't like what you buy they will fully refund or exchange with no problem at all. They are really quick with responding to enquiries too so if there's anything you want to ask them before buying I suggest sending them an email and you will soon see what I mean…they really go beyond to try and make their customers happy!

Answer: I wasn't successful. I sent them pics of the reaction I am having in the exact areas I am using the product and all they had to say was,"your 30 day return period has expired". For a company that charges $45 for 1.7 oz of cream, that is very poor customer service.
