I didn't realize I'd be paying for a year's worth of product on the first order. I may contact my bank to correct this...it's highly unusual and seems fraudulent. I don't have a good feeling about a company that offers a "try before you buy" program then baits you into prepaying for a year. I'm old...I could die before ever receiving the product.
I clicked on a 20% off coupon after completing my order. Then I noticed 2 new ordered were created with no way to cancel. No one has responded back to me. If the orders ship they will want to charge me for shipping and that is not going to be good
BE AWARE THAT ADD ONS ARE DURING THE CHECKOUT PROCESS AND YOU CAN CLICK A COUPON AND NEXT THING YOU KNOW YOU AR CHARGED CLOSE TO $100 DOLLARS. THIS IS NOT OK.
They refunded the money for the add ons.
They corrected the error on they end. It took multiple emails and push back but they finally came through and fixed the issue and I received my money back
Wonderful customer service. My 1st order did not work but the return time had expired. The company refunded my previous price and I am now waiting for a different color foundation.

I just tried the "Try Before you Buy" option and I'm not impressed. It's not bad...It has a smooth creamy finish, but it's not as special and magical as they advertise. I generally purchase the Covergirl Simply Ageless for between $8 and $10. I have used this foundation for years and have enjoyed it overall.
Lately, I've noticed that I'm beginning to get lines under my eyes along with bags that is a normal process in aging, but at 35 it feels a bit daunting.
They way that IL Makiage is advertised on tiktok makes it seem like it will make you look as if you have used the youcam makeup app in real life. This does not do that. First of all, they had me take a picture of myself so that they can match the color to my skin... The color that they sent me is for people with yellow undertones. As someone who has pink undertones in their skin, this foundation made me look slightly jaundiced. Besides that, although it is nice, light weight, decent coverage... It didn't look as if I just used the Youcam Makeup app. I looked the same as if I used my $10 Covergirl Simply Ageless only with a yellow undertone instead of a pink. It also costs $45 for the IL Makiage. Maybe they have one with a pink undertone, but even if they did, I wouldn't purchase it for $45 when I can have something that is already great with years and years on the market like Covergirls Simply Ageless.
They only thing I can do about my lines and bags is preventative botox. But I'm happy with the coverfirl and will be sending the IL Makiage back.
