I've always had a pleasant experience with Il Makiage. I use their concealer each time I wear makeup. I have also needed to return products due to wrong shade or if I didn't like them, I'm not a fan of the full coverage foundation. It's too thick for everyday wear for me. I returned it with no trouble at all and got the lighter coverage foundation and I've been using it ever since!
Order was easy to place and there was a a lot of options to choose from. I'm excited about trying my new makeup.
Once again my auto replenishment order did not arrive even though some Carrier said it was delivered to my community mailbox. Very unhappy customer. Last time I was told it wouldn't happen again... and it did
Received numerous $15 off email offers which I tried to use and set up auto replenish for Power up. However, didn't receive the reduced price for the auto replenish so why even sign up for the reoccuring delivery? Plus, there is no prompt for a chat at checkout nor a live customer service number.
I had a really great experience with the quiz, with communications with a company directly, but when I received my product, I wasn't very happy. I wanted a nice shine with some minimal coverage, and I got a product that doesn't really cover anything at all. I also found that the base of the foundation I received is quite yellow, which is nothing like my skin, so I found that a little off and I'm not going to keep it.
I have been using Il Makiage products for a few years. There are certain items I absolutely love and continue to purchase. My favorites include I woke up like this foundation, the long wear eye pencil, Icon mascara, and the power redo wrinkle fix. I started with the foundation and was amazed by the color match to my skin. I love the how well it blends in with my skin tone. The eye liner provides great color that truly lasts and does not smudge. I was shocked with the Power redo wrinkle fix. I assumed it was going to be just a temporary primer, but it actually reduced my wrinkles!
Customer service is top notch! Always very friendly when I reach out and I really appreciate the friendly reminders. The products are the best in the industry as far as I am concerned.

Ordered concealer which i highly recommend however then all these pop ups come up and the next thing you know I have two add on orders. Unable to cancel or contact anyone for assistance. I didn't want additional products they were basically forced on me.
I decided to sign up for subscribe and save with a 20% savings and free shipping. I was billed $66 used my $15 coupon was billed tax as expected for a total of $54.57. No benefit for subscribe and save. NOT HAPPY!
The pump on the bottle gets stuck each time I try to pump out the product to apply it. I have to stop and manually pull up the pump each time I push it down. I paid sixty three dollars for 4 ounces of product in a bottle that will not pump out.
I went to order mascara and at checkout there was a button to add primer. I had no intention of ordering the primer that accidentally hit the button and you automatically charged my card and are now sending me a $42 primer that I will never use. I hate that you have my card on file and can charge it so quickly and there's nothing I can do about it.
I bought the self tanning product and didn't get it yet so I can't evaluate the product. However, the purchasing experience is annoying! They keep offering subscription, free gift and then subscription again…. And more subscription. I had to pay attention not to get trapped into those automated renews. Offer once and then let the client buy the product in peace. Please.

Both purchased items, IL Makage skin does nothing for one's skin that the other deep clarify's do already. The IL Makage plumping cream caused a rash. The price I paid for products that don't help my mature skin. These products are made for younger generations that have no facial issues. I'm sorry your products aren't for the mature women. The price is ridiculous!

Answer: Yes! I believe they are anyway…but the problem with asking different peoples opinions and that is you will get MANY different opinions! The reason I say go for it and try them out is because regardless of if the products suit YOUR skin and style their customer service is amazing so you aren't really taking a risk as if for whatever reason you don't like what you buy they will fully refund or exchange with no problem at all. They are really quick with responding to enquiries too so if there's anything you want to ask them before buying I suggest sending them an email and you will soon see what I mean…they really go beyond to try and make their customers happy!

Answer: I wasn't successful. I sent them pics of the reaction I am having in the exact areas I am using the product and all they had to say was,"your 30 day return period has expired". For a company that charges $45 for 1.7 oz of cream, that is very poor customer service.
