My first shipment came and the color was off. Too yellow and needed just a tad of red. But when I went to return/exchange, the options were quite limited. "Too dark?" "Too light?" But nothing on coloring/undertones. To be honest, the foundation I made myself was closer and blended better for my skin. I was just looking for something while I'm healing from an injury and can't handle the time on my feet to formulate another batch of foundation.
Now to the good, they sent me another kind of foundation and a different color and this was much better than the first. It was a bit too heavy for me (I've only used it the one time since it just came in the mail yesterday) so I plan to mix it with some serum to loosen up the look, but I think it might just work for me.
All in all, I've had a very good experience with this company. They took my returns, no questions, and even reached out when they noticed the package was delayed in shipment. I will be using this company again for my needs when I can't make it myself... and I LOVE their black card mascara.
If I could just remove a half a star, that's what I would remove, just for the AI replacement menus. 4 1/2 stars from me!

I am so annoyed! I ordered a few products and when I was done paying a page popped up that said "claim an extra 20% off" so I clicked it. Next thing I know, I am charged another $42. I have no clue what for and then I get an email saying I added an "add on" another product with 20% off. I was confused and emailed customer service. They said even though the order was placed minutes ago, they won't cancel the random add on for me. They say I have to wait the 7-10 days to receive whatever this additional product is, then print the return label and then have to go physically drop it off at fedex to return it. All this for a sneaky product they added onto my order after the fact!

Offers, at the end are not as great.
The only reason why I keep buying from il makiage is because the products are really good. Il makiage should treat better their regular customers. Better deals and offers. They give you "gifts" same gift over and over. I don't even know what else to do with the eyeliners. Please! If you notice I'm a regular customer and that I just bought last month, don't send me the same gift again. Make smaller versions of gifts and send different stuff so We "the customers" can try and make us buy more. Marketing101... products are really good and that's exactly what I'm here for but that's it.
