They matched me with a much lighter shade and of course I ok'd it because the color swab wasn't that much different than my existing foundation I was only hoping it was more the swab on the picture. But no it wasn't it's almost white
I purchased "woke up like this " foundation. It did not look like the right colour. The customer support team contacted me immediately and helped me with their experts, find the right colour. Very best customer service I have ever experienced.
Did the color match test, received my foundation. Unfortunately it was a bit off, but customer service not only took care of me, they let me keep the first color, immediately shipped out the next shade, then sent me a $25 code to redeem for 'not getting it right the first time.' This company has treated me better than any company ever has. The foundation is absolutely perfect. Feels so light weight but has all the coverage I need. I've been recommending it to all of my friends.

I wanted to love this product so much. I will start of with the positive. It was a great, effortless color match. Shockingly perfect. Which is why I am so extremely disappointed in the way it lays on the skin. I tried so hard to make it work. With primer, without primer. Try a different primer. Apply with the brush it came with (you could see every brush stroke and would not blend) applied with fingers. I even bought the concealer and it did the exact same thing. Tried mixing it with bye bye under eye concealer from It cosmetics which did end up helping until i realized i was working so hard to try to like a product that wasn't worth the hype so i gave up and will return :( Back to my It cosmetics CC cream. I also don't feel like I have problematic skin so it shouldn't have been this hard to make work.
Products did not match my skin color. Returning. I order another shade hopinh to have better luck and give the product a second chance.
Returning to Il Makiage was a no-brainer because of the superb quality of their foundation. However, I couldn't check out unless I signed up for a subscription and I was swamped with offers on other products. If I wanted to purchase those items, I would have selected from the home page and explored their qualities. The format of this site doesn't match the quality of the product.
It put two different mark ups in my heck out and would not let me remove had to start over it would be nice if a number to call was avaible not sure if I got a a good match so hate to recieve just to send back if it does not. It ask fir the age up I use now,so why not ask for the color I use than you would get a a better match to start with

I wish I wasn't asked to make choices to subscribe, or offering other products, it's irritating. Give a choice to subscribe then leave it if customer says no. I understand it's a way to make money but it is irritating.
I don't have much experience in makeup and I don't use it at all, but I did use to put on TONS of makeup in middle & high school thinking I was the sh*t LOL. So recently I've been wanting to return & experiment with makeup again and perhaps gain a little more knowledge. The foundation & concealer is my first try and let me tell you, the consistency is so lightweight it felt like I didn't have anything on, so I'm really glad it did not make my pores look so big & cakey. I have really bad rosacea and this completely covered that in one go! Unfortunately I did get the wrong shade of foundation and that's okay. You learn with trial and error! I'd recommend this foundation to my friends.
I contacted IlMakiage with a foundation shade issue for the winter, skin is not as tan as in summer. They emailed me back within a day, and sent out a lighter shade immediately.

This company is absolutely amazing I had questions and they answered them straight no run around. I've always struggled with finding a foundation that matches my skin tone and I finally decided to try this I was Skeptical because it's online but it matches perfectly
I ordered a third product without realizing it and have no idea how to cancel it. On the order history there's no option to cancel order
I signed up with authorship which was supposed to bring the price from 45 down to 35. However when the receipt was emailed- the full price was there. No discount. We will see once I'm actually billed after the trial period.
Answer: Yes! I believe they are anyway…but the problem with asking different peoples opinions and that is you will get MANY different opinions! The reason I say go for it and try them out is because regardless of if the products suit YOUR skin and style their customer service is amazing so you aren't really taking a risk as if for whatever reason you don't like what you buy they will fully refund or exchange with no problem at all. They are really quick with responding to enquiries too so if there's anything you want to ask them before buying I suggest sending them an email and you will soon see what I mean…they really go beyond to try and make their customers happy!

Answer: I wasn't successful. I sent them pics of the reaction I am having in the exact areas I am using the product and all they had to say was,"your 30 day return period has expired". For a company that charges $45 for 1.7 oz of cream, that is very poor customer service.
