I can't believe that these people lied to me. I'm thinking it's a small sample like you get the little perfume packets. But I was not aware that I have a 14 day period and they'll charge your card. That's not honestly fair.
I have purchased several items from Il Makiage and I really like their products. I would rate the products 4 to 5 stars, but their business model makes me crazy. It's like dealing with a sleazy pushy salesperson. You can't check out until you have been asked a half dozen times if you want to add this or that, or sign up for auto replenish. I just want to buy what I want and get on with my life. Also once your order is finally placed be prepared for several emails, per day!

I was given a credit to use for a future purchase. There was no place to add it on the website. A customer rep told me the discount can't be used if the quizz was taken, which it automatically took me to and thought I had to take. I did not see anything about that, so now trying to cancel my order if the discount cannot be applied! Also frustrating there is no phone # to call for help, just emails.
I didn't care for the emails I also am confused about auto ship I do not go through 1 jar in 4 months

This has been the most stressful and hardest site to order from. Once you select try before you buy, you can't remove it. I've been trying to purchase for three days and I've been unsuccessful due to using. Prepaid card and your system not allowing me to check out a REGULAR PRICED ITEM, not try before you buy. I contacted customer service just for them not to read my questions correctly and they did not answer my question. I figured it out eventually but a very horrible experience especially for a first time buyer.
Based on all the FB ads I kept seeing, it made me really curious as to its truth! The discounts and gifts also gave it a more enticing adventure! Hope it's all they say it is!
I can not cancel my order because they said it was already processed its no way it was processed that fast
NOT happy with their check out process at all. They offered me a trial for $6 and change and when the order was processing a message flashed saying that my "bank" card was not authorized for the trial offer. Then I get an email saying that my order was placed and the receipt shows $54.14 was charged to the exact same card. WTF! I want my money back!
Answer: Yes! I believe they are anyway…but the problem with asking different peoples opinions and that is you will get MANY different opinions! The reason I say go for it and try them out is because regardless of if the products suit YOUR skin and style their customer service is amazing so you aren't really taking a risk as if for whatever reason you don't like what you buy they will fully refund or exchange with no problem at all. They are really quick with responding to enquiries too so if there's anything you want to ask them before buying I suggest sending them an email and you will soon see what I mean…they really go beyond to try and make their customers happy!

Answer: I wasn't successful. I sent them pics of the reaction I am having in the exact areas I am using the product and all they had to say was,"your 30 day return period has expired". For a company that charges $45 for 1.7 oz of cream, that is very poor customer service.
