I'm in need of a foundation but I don't enjoy wearing makeup. Still, I decided to try IL makiage. The fact that I can try it out for free(just pay shipping) was a pretty good incentive. Also, I appreciated how simple and easy it was to make an online purchase. Though I am still skeptical, but I believe in not knocking something until I try it out. Looking forward to my shipment!

I am subscribed though, and have been for a few years, so I do love it. I wish there was an app! Having to go to my email to click a link to sign in everytime is annoying. Today, I was offered the "Encore Box." My order was approved, the box however was not. I wasn't given a reason as to why I wasn't allowed to subscribe to the monthly box and get those discounts either.
I ordered the primer. It said try for 14 days and pay only shipping today. So I ordered. Looked at my bank card and they charged me for the product and shipping. I also signed up for renewal product every 3 months. I emailed and cancelled that. What a scam!
Quick on customer inquiries, great return policy. Fast shipping. I did enjoy the products and service i received. I just wish color matching was easier. The quiz is great but it's hard for darker skin. I wish a pop up store could come to canada and color match instead of back and forth returns.

Can't put key words into Search Bar (to include words that are part of the product title) and expect related items to show up. On the contrary, a cannot-find message appears.
As one completes the order, there are numerous pop-ups for additional items (just stop!), or the same items discounted (30%) if one changes the purchase method. Shows just how overpriced the products are when they can do an immediate 30% drop if you decide to buy a larger quantity. I'm not interested in turning over an excessive amount of money for products I haven't tried yet! The saving point for II Makiage is my daughter is using one of the products so I'm basing its efficacy on her so-far-it-might-be-doing-something experience. If this doesn't live up to the hype, I'll be refunding it faster than it took me to write this (requested) review.

I got the foundation and it was a slightly darker shade but I was able to exchange easily and they even restarted my "try it before you buy it" period.
I was sent codes for "gift cards", but they were invalid. I was unable to use them. I've reached out to customer service about it in the past; they made it sound like I don't know how to use them. I copied and pasted the codes so they weren't entered incorrectly; they were just invalid.
The products are fabulous and it's so easy and convenient to order online.

The primer only has one moderate risk ingredient. The foundation has two hazardous and two moderate risk ingredients. I didn't buy any of the powders but the foundation has talc in it so I would bet so do most of the other products. If you don't know that asbestos is in baby powder and that talc doesn't exist without asbestos, look it up. HBO did a really good documentary series on how toxic most beauty products are. Try the YUCCA App. I filled a kitchen size garbage can when I downloaded that app and scanned my products. I works for food and health products too.
I had ordered foundation and after receiving it it wasnt a good match I was given no trouble in getting a replacement so far so good service is fast too

Answer: Yes! I believe they are anyway…but the problem with asking different peoples opinions and that is you will get MANY different opinions! The reason I say go for it and try them out is because regardless of if the products suit YOUR skin and style their customer service is amazing so you aren't really taking a risk as if for whatever reason you don't like what you buy they will fully refund or exchange with no problem at all. They are really quick with responding to enquiries too so if there's anything you want to ask them before buying I suggest sending them an email and you will soon see what I mean…they really go beyond to try and make their customers happy!

Answer: I wasn't successful. I sent them pics of the reaction I am having in the exact areas I am using the product and all they had to say was,"your 30 day return period has expired". For a company that charges $45 for 1.7 oz of cream, that is very poor customer service.
