Seems like a good deal but they charge you a fee of 20$ to ship the cirtificate. There is a free option for snail mail but you can't choose it... And after sitting in front of the computer for 6 hours you will pay anything
I requested a refund 10 times and never received one and i met all the requirements for the refund they don't answer calls and they never respond to my email
The videos do not play! My daughter could not complete this course because the videos would play for about two minutes then cut out. Even after installing flash and trying on multiple computers, the videos still would not play. Called customer service and explained I wanted a refund, they said it was past 30 days and they did not have the authority to issue me one. I demanded to talk to a supervisor. They put me on hold then told me "someone" from the accounting dept would call me back. That never happened.
Buyer beware! Learn from my mistake and stay away from this company! If I could give them a zero instead of a one star I would.

My course expired. They would not give a refund and would not extend the course for me to complete. I would never use this company. I paid about $25 to save on my insurance but there will be no savings for me. Just expense. Unless you have a whole lot of time to complete this quickly don't purchase it. I have 4 kids so not a lot of time here and now I spent money on something that will have no benefit to me.

On line chat person directed me to the wrong course, after taking the course and the certificate not being accepted by the company I needed to submit it to I contacted I drive safely to remedy. Not only did they NOT take any responsibility or agree to a refund, they also did not offer to let me take the correct course at no charge to make it up which I would have been happy to do and still need to do, with someone else at this point. I am disputing the charges but these guys do not have any customer service and this was 100% on them. I gave them the precise details of the course I needed in the on line chat and was walked in real time to the course I was told to select and it was not correct. That's not my fault...
Hi there! We apologize for the confusion. When you initially reached your state you stated you needed a 4 hour equivalate online DD course. That is why we recommend our Defensive Driving Course. When you reached out explaining this wasn't correct, we submitted a refund for the incorrect purchase. You stated in your chat with our agent, " (11:36:05 PM) Baurice: no and it was me... not you lol." We're very sorry for any inconvenience you may have experienced. From the beginning, my videos wouldn't play. I messaged them through their website multiple times and all I ever got was an auto-response via email. I finally got my videos to play with no help from them. I figured out that their videos needed flash to play, and even though it says it can, it can't play on Safari. My videos had been working, they were a little slow, but they were still playing until I got to to the second chapter in my course. I had done maybe 30 minutes of videos before it stopped working again! I emailed them this time explaining that I had been having trouble with their website since the beginning. When I got no response, my dad and I decided to read some of their reviews looking for some kind of help. Going through their most recent reviews we saw that not one of them was positive. Other people were complaining about their HORRIBLE customer service, and everyone who was able to complete their course never even received their certificate! This place is a total scam!

After installing the current Flash Player, still nothing! My daughter was unable to watch the course videos. And now I can't get a hold of anyone - email, chat and phone call. I want my money back and don't know how to get it!

I did unit 1 and 2 of the alcohol and drug course and it says I didn't complete unit 2 which I have several times. I've been re doing the quizzes all day for it not to let me move onto the next course.

I purchased a course in June. I have contact the company via email 3 times with no response. "*******@idrivesafely.com " Everytime I call in it's over 30 minutes I wait. I have yet to connect with someone to help me access the course that I purchased. Thank gosh I took a screen shot and have proof on my credit card because an email was never sent to me in regards to the course or my payment.
I am not impressed.

So one course is much like the next, this is total nonsense just to get your ticket cleared. The real issue is the customer service and the site. Most video dont play or freeze and you have to take it all over. I was charged several times and had to dispute it with paypal every time. Best of all didnt receive the course completion certificate to show the dmv so had to take the class all over at another driving school.

I no longer need the certificate, but I cannot find an area on the website to request a refund. There isn't even a place explaining HOW to request a refund. All it says on the matter is "We give refunds." (The subtext being "We give refunds IF you can figure out how to request one :)" )
As if getting a ticket wasn't stressful enough. And apparently there's a "processing fee" as well. Ridiculous.

Although I wasn't in a super hurry to receive the certificate, the idea that they charge customers a premium for email delivery or downloading which costs the company zilch is, in my mind, not both unethical and immoral. They can save postage fees with digital delivery to customers or certify completion of the course directly to insurance companies or other entities (their competitor offers this), but choose to make money off of folks who want or need the certificate immediately.
It was very informative, and a refresher course since I have been a licensed driver for over 40 plus years. The only thing I would change is if you finish reading before the alloted time you would be able to continue without having to wait. My certificate came in the mail a week later which i really appreciated. I also liked the fact that it cost half of what I would have had to pay if I had gone to a defensive driving course.
Initially I gave idrive a rating of 1 because I did not receive my certificate online and I needed it within 5 hours for court. Well I called and idrive sent me certificate via email and I had it for court. The rating of 1 was not because of the material. It was a well designed course and I would recommend it.

I completed my safety course three weeks ago, and still have not received my certificate. I really need this certificate for the discount from my insurance agency. The help section was not very helpful there is not even a help section for my needs and I couldn't find any contact information just an address but no phone numbers. Come on guys get your stuff together

I did the regular online course (no video) and found it to be a good value. Easy enough to use interface, only booted me out twice when a page wouldn't load and got hung up, but it brought me right back to where I left off, so it was a minor inconvenience and might just be from me having too many windows open at once. It seemed to take a little longer than a sit down course, but the convenience of doing it at home was a big bonus.
This is a great course I learned a lot and should be a safer driver and will be able to get a discount on my car insurance
