My college requires me to submit a non filer claim in and I have to log into the irs website using ID.me. When making my account I have attempted to submit 3 $#*!ing different forms of identification images just for every single one of them to be "unable to verify my information" and I must join a video call with a god damn representative. If whatever dumbass rep they put on a god damn zoom call with me is able to see my ID better from my $#*!ing webcam while I hold it up better than a still submitted image they have some sort of alien superpowers. This website has absolutely zero purpose and only is made to waste your time. All I need is to download one paper document for me to fill out and the trash over complicated information stealing government can't $#*!ing help but make me log in with my ID. JUST GIVE ME A $#*!ING PDF DOWNLOAD! 0/10
So I had a broken cell phone and needed to replace it as we have an adoption appointment on the same day the phone is cracked beyond repair or use. The awesome professional salesperson at Verizon saw that I hadn't been receiving my military discount and wouldn't let us move on until i had my account set up to acquire and use the discount. Between her(Megan) and her Manager( Ray) they were able to swiftly walk me through the ID.me website and Verizon and apply the discount. I felt safe and secure uploading my needed information and have heard nothing but good things about ID.me. I just wish I hadn't let my pride or stigma prevent me from taking advantage of the veterans that are offered through ID.me. For any veterans who haven't done it yet. Do it. It is an easy, quick breezy process with ID.me.
After receiving a Letter from IRS, re: Requesting more identity verification of me, I followed through immediately. However, my efforts to Self Service Verify didn't work, so I did Verification w/Video Chat Live Agent, and got the Verification Process completed. Thank You!

The ID.me verification welcomed me into the system for creating an account and enabling multi-factor authentication on 8/4/23. They didn't verify me and I had to send my drivers license and selfie a second time. Finally on 8/7/23 I was verified. This delayed my applying for benefits.

Being able to access irs.gov by utilizing ID.me was a great help and allowed me to get things done without delay, dealing with bureaucracy, or waiting on hold for hours.

There are no instructions on either company websites of how, or even if, I can correct this.
I'm very frustrated with ID.Me you guys are a 3rd party system that should make it easier to obtain important documents from government sites. But it's not I've been putting tickets in all day and still haven't heard back from anybody in regards to anything. You need to hire live representatives and have a number so issues can be more resolved easier makes this process more difficult than it has to be and then we have to upload ID and do a face stimulator that doesn't even recognize our face its insane and I'm annoyed
