Very confusing. Too many requirements. Some things are hard to understand. Not simple at all.
Too complicated
I wanted to understand what my benefits were, and how I stood in the future. I was surprised to see how easy and simple it was to use the website. I found the information I was looking for easy and conveniently.
This was by far the worse experience ever. A full star is being generous if there was a half star option that's all this deserves. I created an account and still can't login after being verified what junk. Who wants so much security that you get locked out of your account and nobody after hour's to resolve an issue. This is crazy absolutely ridiculous. And the chat assistant is useless as basketball cleats. I have a problem that's not one of the options and it can't help me because it can't understand the issue I'm typing that I need to resolve. What a waste of time. Having that chat bot instead of an actual person is just a bad idea. You might as well hire an agent to answer phones that can barely speak or understand English I'd rather deal with that than that turd of an assistant. Sorry I'm just honest I don't sugar coat anything. I'm just aggravated all the time I spent and still can't log in. Unbelievable. Thank you for wasting my time I can't tell you how much I don't appreciate that. Idme needs to R.i.p. Rot in pieces. Wow what a huge hassle it's supposed to make it better but failed epically for me. You definitely dropped the ball coach
I started my verifying process with login.gov at first. I tried so many times to get verified using my driver's license but i could not get past the part where they wanted to send me a code to my old phone number that was no longer in service. So, i went to ID.me. I did not understand the difference between login.gov or id.me until i called for help and got the understanding from a id.me representative. I was still at a block because id.me wanted to send me a code to my phone that was no longer in service. After getting the right information was able to ask for what i needed which was a video verification. Id.me is the only company that offers this service, and within 2 weeks i was able to get verified over the cam using my driver's license and a social security card, and my beautiful face, thank you for doing that. Since then, i have been able to get discounts, compensation claims, pay my taxes, look at my retirement, and everything the government has about me. Really good secure tool, I'm glad all these checks are in place, and happy that all these government institutions are at my fingertips.

Poor to no connection with this service. The password system is unreliable and mostly unresponsive. I had to enter my name and password too many times.

Elements on the authentication screen are confusing. Once I make selection of user ID authentication method(s); there should be suppression or stronger differentiation between selected and in selection authentication options.
Great the person who help me he was very knowledgeable and make it easy to do the verification successfully because trying to file is no and easy task when you are no familiar with it
The ID.me experience is not the quickest but the best security I have encountered. When it comes to your taxes, a quick verification process is the last thing a taxpayer needs to be concerned with. So for me, I felt completely safe obtaining my information.

It was very high technology for it's use in identifying a person to prevent fraudulent claims. On the civilian side of common community with moderate government interests. For myself I find it more challenging now for others trying to beat the system.
The whole sign-up process was extremely quick, and was able to verify my Identity with the ID that I actually have and use currently. All around easy and painless process. Highly recommend!
