Overall experience was quick and easy. I had issues with the selfie part of Identifying, so I had to join a video call to complete the process.
I got a bill from the IRS for $52. I scanned the square to pay it. I got sucked into this obstacle course of giving them all my personal data. Name, address, SS#, a copy of my driver's license, a video scan of my face, everything they would need to steal my identity. Then I got a non-specific error message that "something went wrong". I couldn't got forward. I couldn't go back. I just had to quit. So, now they have all my information and I didn't even get to pay my bill. All I can do is worry and wait. That is so very messed up. Thanks a lot IDon't.me! {vacant stare}

All I wanted to do was pay my quarterly estimated income tax. Instead, I got to sing and dance my way through this new sign on procedure. It took me about four times as long as making a purchase on an online store and for what? I needed my desktop AND my iPhone and my wallet. My computer, phone and wallet were in three separate rooms, so I had to locate my wallet and phone first. I needed to photograph my driver's license. I needed to video myself. This was a solution looking for a problem. What a massive PITA.
It took a few times to verify with the same information. None of my contact information changed.
This is unacceptable, my employer required this verification and due to a "glitch " I had go spend 3 hours emailing the tech support to finally get them to look at my account and provide the right solution. Then another hour for him to provide instructions to complete the second part of the process so my employer could see the verification… Really? Also isn't this sensitive information to be lost by a "glitch" in the system?
It was clear and easy to understand, but too lengthy in qualifying my identity through the one of the credit bureaus. It wasn't my credit worthiness and I didn't fear the VA having access to it for the purpose of verifying my identity. They were't there for any other reason and I felt secure that my information was safe.
There was a glitch somewhere and caused a delay in completing. Otherwise it was a smooth process and worth my time.
