Although it was a bit complicated, I am glad I used it because it is necessary for the security of my identity.

I used the Idme method to sign in for two government sites. (The IRS and Social Security) the login set up was easy, just follow the instructions. Once you set up the login info you can use the same Idme for other government sites also and I find that to be very convenient!
This company says they are all about fast, easy and efficient. That was not my experience at all. The "process" took me more than 45 minutes and in the end, I finally got so frustrated, I gave up. Only to discover later in an email, that I had been successful! I'm not familiar with this company but I had to supply more personal information than I was comfortable with sharing! I don't know where they are based AND they were a recommendation by the government. You make your own decision.
It is so easy to use and get your work done. It is the only way to get to my VA account
Needed to sign in on EDD to get records of Disability insurance payments and my old password so my ID me account make everything a lot easier cause they already have all my information including facial recognition methods so did not have to go to a long process of identifying myself again.
