THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY I"VE EVER HAD TO USE! I WANT TO GIVE THEM NO STARS! You apply with several documents and they ignore you for 8 hours, then with no warning because your not in front of your computer for 8 hours waiting for them... they make you start from scratch and apply again.

I already sent 4 messages today and not 1 reply, only way to get help is either by email (Forget it) or through their chat service, I was on from the minute they opened for chat 11 am Eastern waited in Que for hours and everytime I thought i was 8th or 7th in que i got kicked out had to reconnect, until the last time I tried to reconnect, got a message "Sorry Closed For The Day" try again tomorrow.
I would never recommend this site but I am forced to use their service due to the great state of California's EDD department who asked me to have myself verify my identification in order to receive unemployment insurance benefits.

ABSOLUTE CRAP
January 14, 2021

I am so unbelievably pissed. After waiting HOURS (3.5 first time around) you get a notification that "documents are being reviewed" THEN you get spit out and it FINALLY decides to tell you "something isn't valid." As I scrambled to get a new document uploaded thinking I will still get to finally speak with someone what does it do: YOU ARE BACK IN LINE WITH ESTIMATED 4.5 HOUR WAIT THIS TIME. This has happened to me 3 d*mn sh*t times. Last time I had uploaded a medical bill and the representative that was reviewing my documents apparently deemed it "not valid." It was a MEDICAL BILL WITH my address, WITH my prescription, WITH my name and everything. Instead of being able to speak with a person to actually see what you need instead it just spits you out and you've lost your place in line. TOUGH LUCK. All i can say is: EFF YOU ID.ME. Ps. I am having to do this because EDD decided my phone number was somehow different than my previous (even though its the exact same #) and flagged it as fraud. FUNNY seeing how I had over 10k stolen from me earlier this year (which I still haven't seen a PENNY from) because someone "forced a pin" on my EDD card yet THEY WERE ABLE TO STEAL ALL MY MONEY WITHOUT THINKING TO FREEZE THE ACCOUNT. Ironic.

I tried to verify my ID iwth this company for my California EDD claim and they do not respond. They're system dos not work. They cannot handle the workload. It's been a month since my EDD Claim was suspended due to Possible fraud and this company was hired to Verify ID's and they are HORRIBLE AT IT!.
I complained to customer service for 2 days and NO Response from ID.me. I had to complain to my Assemblyman and Governor Newsom. DROP THIS COMPANY! THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY'RE DOING!

I have tried unsuccessfully to put in tickets to get into my account, I do not have the log in information for an account I set up years ago, the only way to get into this account is a support ticket, as the chat function just disconnects me after an hour of waiting, this is unacceptable, Unemployment is only giving 10 days to respond to the identity verification, I am on day 5 with no response and no way to contact the California unemployment department.

Site has several issues, none of which have any reliable workaround. It gets hung up on phone numbers, it can't handle any kind of curveball (foreign passport, maiden name), and the wait time for "referee" is basically eternity (nobody can confirm ever actually talking to one). Horrible customer service and basic troubleshooting. Really stupid and incompetent app beginning to end. Only an idiot who likes to burn their money would find this garbage company.

Do not use this service, the system is run by fascists. They try to force people without their consent to facial scanning by tricking them into taking selfies, etc. Refuse to connect via video chat and after waiting 14 hours, yes, 14 hours they hung up on us. This company is a fraud. Do not use this service!

EDD CALIFORNIA CONTRACTED WITH THIS COMPANY TO VERIFY IDENTITY! CALIFORNIA SHOULD GET ITS MONEY BACK AND MORE. IT IS A PAIN! I SPENT 2 DAYS TRYING TO SET UP A VIDEO TRUSTED CALL TO VERIFY MY IDENTITY TO NO AVAIL. CHAT IS ALWAYS 80-90 PEOPLE IN QUEQUE, BY THE TIME YOU GET TO THE 20 PEOPLE LEFT, CHAT GETS DISCONECTED. I SENT 8-10 TICKET REQUEST, 2 OF THEM WERE ANSWER ONLY WITH THE WORD " SOLVED", NO OTHER EXPLANATION GIVEN.

THERE IS NO PHONE NUMBER TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE, EACH TIME YOU HAVE TO GO TO THE SAME PROCESS AGAIN ONLY USELESS CHAT AND USELESS TICKET

This is quite fishy the company admits that 3 parties have access to your ID and they force you to have facial recognition. My question is why the CA government certainly does not do this for voting, welfare, or other social programs.
So we have to submit to the Orwellian company whose system is deeply flawed why?
Now it gets good I tried to set this up but can't no matter what I do I cannot set up the facial recognition portion it would be OK with me if we could just skip it unfortunately that will never happen.

I submitted a document to verify I am a current student and received an email that they were "unable to verify your status as a current student." The document clearly shows my name, my university's name, and that I am registered for classes for the spring 2021 semester, everything ID.me claims to need. I can't believe a person actually looked at the document since a 7 year old would be able to look at it and see it met those requirements. And then when you go to submit a request for assistance, they have very limited drop down menu options, which leads me to believe they don't want people contacting them. I chose a similar option and submitted it anyways because the issue is theirs, not mine. Truly ridiculous.

Very Frustrating!

All I want is my VA ID card.
I followed all the directions and keep getting "Phone number is invalid" BS my phone number is not invalid! And that's it! Nothing more, as the soup Nazi once said "No soup for you!" I submitted a ticket with ID.me and haven't heard from them since. Why do State and Federal governments use crap like this?

Horrible software!

Nothing works. It said my wait was 1:50. More than three hours later I got connected with Sheridan F. Only to find out my audio and video wouldn't work. Then I got it working in another window with no indication how to connect back to Sheridan F. If I start over the new wait time is over three hours which in real life means six. What a horrible system.

Started my ID.me verification on 11/30/2020. Hold=3 to 5 hours waste of time. Over 10 emails with apologies and excuses but no solution to my verification. Today 01/07/2021 waste 30 more minutes and back to square one. Trusted Referee still in in vacations because never show up for over 5 times and still waiting for him. If I had the power to out of business/close this ID.me company before I finish my review it would be gone. Good Luck America with this shameful ID.me worthless company.
