I was scheduled for surgery in a few days when my EKG showed an abnormality requiring a Nuclear Stress
Test. The surgery was postponed for 2 months since it did not seem likely the test results would be back in time for the surgery to be approved. Through secure messaging I requested it not be postponed and my reasons why. It was agreed that if the test was negative and signed off on the surgery could proceed. Because of the ability to communicate quickly with all involved and personnel doing more then required we were able to meet the original date, I believe this could never have happened using the previous style of communication.

I did a video call vs. the "quicker" method and it was a very easy and simple process. I really appreciated that they provided me a link to use my cell to take the necessary photos and then go straight back to the PC webpage I was on! During the process, getting my documents prepared and loaded was simple. The wait to get my documents verified took about 45 minutes but keep in mind you're not the only one doing this.
