This is new for me. I'm testing it out for Fabletics. It now offers a 15% off discount for veteran spouses (which I am). I haven't tried using the discount yet but once I do I will leave a more accurate review. The ease of the application was great, no issues. There were a couple of questions but they didn't drag on. I liked the fact it asked questions to confirm that my husband is in fact who he claims to be. I was expecting a simple "is your husband a veteran" question and based on your response you get the discount automatically. I liked the fact it asked had to enter information that was reviewed prior to be being verified. It made me feel more comfortable.
I needed my W2 transcript so I went to IRS website and realized I need to set up ID.me account. Thought it would take me awhile to set up but it was rather quick and simple. Didn't really have any issues while doing that.
Applying for a state license or needing to identify myself filling out forms is always easy with ID.me. So many agencies now have that access and it is secure and trusted.
I hope this will keep all Tax information correct as well as any payments or refunds due me. And perhaps with other things that need my identity protected.

The website is not user-friendly. I had such a hard time trying to figure out where to go and what to do next it took me hours to figure out, and I'm actually still waiting for an OTP which I never received to to proceed with the process
I created a password, then it did not accept the password when I tried to use it with Freshdirect. I tried to change the password. I put in my email to get a link to change the password. That was 2 days ago. Still waiting for the email.
It was difficult for me at first, but once I read what I needed it helped. I took pics of my id then uploaded them it was a lot easier
I couldn't have been more thorough and detailed in the information I provided throughout the process of having my ID.me account setup and authenticated. I verified my email address(es), my phone number via text and phone calls, I downloaded the stupid ID.me authenticator app, provided my social security number, uploaded my drivers license (front/back) AND passport multiple times and attempts, and proceeded to have a face ID for biometrics. It is comical to me that the survey asked if I had the chance to use some discount that was provided after I was finally verified? First of all, I was never verified, and second, I could give 2 $#*!s about some discount that will never come to fruition.
So quick and user friendly. I recommend that more people get verified with this site. Safe and secure.

The survey was Too Long. Too many questions. I disagree either way this identity system. Older people don't have money for computer processes. Ssa is going to tax us on too much and not give us full money. We have to buy health insurance. It has all been a Lie! Ssa hasn't sent any detail information out 10 yrs or more before age65.
