I had an issue with resubmitting one of my receipts although it took several emails to resolve the issue response time was very quick. The responses you receive back aren't always from the same person. Some of the replies were short answered and seemed to indicate misunderstanding of the issue. It would be nice to get a response from the same team member versus several however, Joel and Jill helped to resolve the issue.

I purchased 2 items for an Ibotta cash back rebate at Costco. The register printer ran out of paper as the receipt was printing. The recei
Pt could not be reprinted at that register, but the rebate items did print. A supervisor provided an itemized receipt that was not in a scannable format. I reached out to the Ibotta help desk. Prince confirmed my purchase and manually credited my account for the rebates. Thank you to Ibotta!

I saw the qualified product for the specific store listed on the ibotta app, so I added the cash back offer and bought the product. When I went to scan the receipt, I couldn't see the product on the list anymore, so I had to ask for help. After asking for help, I finally got my $1.00 ibotta cash back reward.
Main idea: If you saw the cash back offer earlier & it looked like it disappeared, contact the ibotta Customer Support for help... just like they were able to help me.

The savings are a nice perk to any shopping trip. Sometimes the offers are a little confusing/deceptive, but the Ibotta customer service is great. Every time I've contacted them, they've helped fix my claim.

So use of the app and Ibotta overall has been hit and miss, though more hit. And the addition of the browser extension has added to both the hits and misses.
But overall I'd vote more hit and less misses.

I was missing cash back from a shopping trip and the chatbot was unable to help me. I had to open a service ticket with customer support. Once I sent the email explaining the problem, Josh from customer support took care of it and manually added the cash to my account. I'm very pleased with this transaction.

My receipt showed purchase of 3 items, but it did not register on Ibotta when I uploaded my receipt. I contacted Ibotta and the other 2 items were credited promptly.

I have been refused an offer purchased at Market 32 on January 17. The offer was for PopCorners and was for. 75 cents. The photo of the item is identical to the actual item and the barcode on the item was acceptable at purchase.
I have spent almost an hour trying to figure out how to submit a receipt for a store that has a linked card. I still haven't found an answer. Please allow customers to submit a receipt after 72 hours of shopping. I am going to lose my cashback because I can't submit a receipt. And where is a 'contact us' option?

I connected my loyalty program at my grocery store to the app and simply click off the things I buy regularly, and everything else works for itself! Just watch the cash roll in!

I have been using Ibotta for several years. Not as often as I should. It earns me money just for buying certain foods and items at a ton of different stores. When I have had an issue with not receiving the cash back, customer service is super helpful and responds quickly. They are even nice when it's a user error ( like not buying the quantity required). You can cash in your rewards with an actual check or request gift cards.

Having to take multiple images for longer receipts (unlike when using Fetch) and then having to click Retry multiple times before the receipt is accepted is very frustrating. And getting the receipt within the green lines is challenging. In general, I find it harder to use than similar apps.
Love getting cash back on items I would normally buy. Also like getting money on items I WANT to try- good incentive. Also, get free products on occasion as well

Answer: Absolutely so true! I earned up just over $100 and when I went to cash out they said I was fraudulent YET I HAVE EVERY RECEIPT and all submissions were valid. It took me months to get to this amount. Hmmmmm Class action anyone?
Answer: Because they deny certain purchases due to cost! It's become a scam!
Answer: I tried to withdraw money for the first time and it said my account was locked because of multiple attempts which was not true.! I sent 5 requests for help in a week and they finally responded by deactivating my account and keeping the 360.00 that took me months to accumulate. They claim I tampered with a date on a receipt and I just crossed off the account number. So they can keep my money that is mine. How can I get my money back?
Answer: Sorry Jenna bit it seems like you're kinda late for that rebate a few years actually. I'm pretty sure that ibotta have 100% absolutely forgot about you and by not I'm sure you forgot about too. :)
Answer: Go to your $amount and cash out and it will say bank or gift card.
Answer: Why don't any product receipts add extra bonus for us?
Answer: You have to email the morons that run their customer support at least 3 times before you'll get the proper amount credited to your account.
