I like getting more for my money on items I usually buy. It encourages me to try similar products. I don't like the fact that it's not easy to take a picture of the receipt. Sometimes it take 3 or 4 times to get it right. Even when my purchases are automatically connected to my account I do not get credit for some and yes I double check to make sure I purchased the correct item. It is difficult to correct this problem if I can correct it at all.

When I first signed up it was pretty good. I live in a small town where the grocery store and Walmart are the only ones that I can use unless I go on vacation somewhere larger where there's more chances to use it. Twice twice now I've gotten a notification that I earned five dollars and both times they have not credited my account and when I write to customer service it's just a big challenge to get them to understand what I'm saying, even when I send them a screenshot of what I'm talking about. I finally remembered to use it for one of my last Amazon orders, of which I've had many and then they send me a screenshot saying I earned five dollars but they never put it in my account! Every time I shop at Walmart or the grocery store which is quite often there's never anything that qualifies the only thing that works is the "any item" and then you might get five cents for that. Very frustrating and not conducive to small town living.

Ibotta uses a tactic that I call delay and deny until the member gives up. You scan a product in store before purchase and it shows it is an approved item, when you submit the receipt and rescan the product for the rebate, they deny you. If you want the rebate you have to submit a customer care request. This is a a multiday, multi-response process where 2-5 different reps keep asking for the same info, copies and photos. None of them bother to read what has transpired previously. I have even had a rep outright lie to me until a supervisor got involved. I have scaled back my participation and will not invite friends to join this circus.

I absolutely love Ibotta! It's an easy way to make money by scanning receipts of items already purchased in most stores. The customer service has been amazing! If an item wouldnt scan or was left off, I sent pics to the help center and they corrected the amount I was to receive almost instantly. I recommend this app to anyone that want to make a little pocket money.

I love using Ibotta. It has become a challenge to see how much I can save. I always use my savings for Christmas shopping. I do wish there was more brands that offered a savings back.

I really liked this app when I first started using it. Then you changed some things like the any receipt option. I used to be able to scan any receipt from any store. Now the any store needs to be on your list, which isn't any store receipt in my mind.
I am less am less happy trying to use this app. I no longer tell people about this as it's too annoying.
