I had considered several online HVAC vendors and HVACDirect.com was only one of them. They were not my first choice however after checking other reviews it was apparent that HVACDirect.com was the best reviewed and had the least complaints so I moved them to the top of the list. THAT WAS NO MISTAKE! HVACDirect.com was great and had my items securely wrapped together on a pallet where they would not be moving around. They were professionally shipped and I received everything that I ordered and received it very quickly. There is a reason that this vendor has stellar reviews and that is because they deserve it.

One of the reasons that I almost went with another vendor was that another vendor promised free lift gate service whereas HVACDirect charged an additional amount for it. It may be the (truck) driver's responsibility to offload thee shipment and get it from the truck to the ground because when I received my order, even though I did not specify and request liftgate service (at extra cost) R&L Transport sent the driver with a Lift Gate 18 wheel truck and he was able to offload the equipment much easier.

For this shipment a lift gate truck is essential and required as there is no way that the load, as secured and shipped, could have been offloaded without a liftgate truck. Other than that confusion point I would highly recommend anyone considering purchase of online HVAC equipment to pay attention to the reviews and I fully trust and recommend HVACDirect.com and as for myself will never choose anyone else for my future purchases.

As a side caveat let me say that HVACDirect.com was the least expensive for the items I purchased which was an added bonus but even if they are a little more sometimes you get what you pay for and in this case I'd pay a bit more for a purchase from HVACDirect.com because I know I'm going to get what I ordered and get it when promised, very quick. In my case they chose R&L Carriers as the shipper and R&L did an excellent job of contacting me and advising me of the shipment and allowing me to pick the delivery day. This purchase was a total win and the extra peace of mind knowing that I chose the right supplier for my new HVAC equipment is icing on the cake.

Good pre-sales support. In Albuquerque, it took me a while to find an HVAC pro that would install a customer provided unit, so you may want to find one before you make a purchase. My Daikin 1 ton mini-split will be installed for my sunroom on May 17,18', so I'm looking forward to using this room year round. I'm hoping the unit's performance/reliability matches it customer ratings, but those ratings and the 10 year mfg warranty is why I chose this unit.
